Y’all are trying to have me cry on this Black Friday! The song Let go has meant soooo much to me in the past 10 years. It helped after I got pregnant to walk away from what I knew was no good for my child and I. And then as my mom was passing away in 2015 4 days before Christmas I created a gospel playlist so we could all fellowship and sing as she took her last breaths the song let go was playing. As he sang the words “my sister you can’t handle it let go”... that’s when she finally let go and went on to Glory! The song that came after was Kirk franklin my life in in your hands.... My God.... thank you for writing that beautiful song it means more to me than you will ever know.
