Fantastic Visit To Perrys Mansfield - DJI Mini 3

Today I visited Perrys Ford And Mazda dealers in Mansfield, and what a fantastic company and sales team.
Almost as soon as I walked in they made me feel welcome and didn't mind me videoing around the showroom.

I have a Mazda CX-60 PHEV from this dealership, I struggle to get 20 miles EV range in this weather 😂 Very friendly bunch there though. Interesting facts about the Ford sales.

Hi PJ For what iv'e heard They say Electric is the way to go But they still use the Braking Pads of the Petrol Cars so your Still Poluting the Air So until thats sorted Out It's Not worth Changing Great Video Great Staff

Some insurance companies are now refusing to insure electric cars because the entire vehicle is considered a " write-off " when the battery needs replacing. Some batteries cost up to £40,000 and mining & processing Lithium is not particularly cost effective or environmentally friendly anyway. Also, the amount of time spent sitting around waiting for batteries to charge can be unacceptable to anyone who does more than pop to the shops once a week and can slow-charge at home. Hydrogen cars on the other hand are where we should really be going.

Ive got a electric car and they are the opposite to ICE the motorways use more electric than the back roads. My figures are 280 miles range or 170 motorway miles. The ecoboost are the most unreliable engines ford make too. They are laughed at in the trade. Hybrids are better but my 220bhp Megane E-tech goes really well and handles like its on rails with its 20" wheels, the range unfortunately is the downfall with all electric cars but having the ability to charge via a DC ultra charger 120kw in 30mins is fine for everyday use with about a 200 mile return this time of year.
