@@BM-lw6gn So your style and structure strongly suggests you are somehow either directly or indirectly associated with some 'legal' field of endeavour. The very fact you go straight for 'university' as though this was the bastion of all things true and correct would confirm this. Practically all universities across the globe have become unipolar in the direction of 'legality' which is fraught with corruption and manipulation that quite literally ignores the 'law of the land' by touting the law of 'the sea' which is that of commerce and control rather than justice and ethics. You need to be aware of key elements on which the UK has been built across centuries of precedents and established law and not the treasonous acts of men with an agenda. The very fad you find it a laughing matter and call it crap is indicative of ignorance and closed minded. Firstly every man, woman and child has centuries of traditional laws that are part of the British Constitution and are core to the laws of the country the source of Common Law globally. The core of laws are the Magna Carta and a wealth of Imperial Acts that cannot be rescinded unless through a plebiscite or referendum. There are law council reviews and some are replaced with absolute equivalents before any such 'retirement' of the cause and effects of imperial laws. Some instances are Petition of Right, (1628) petition sent by the English Parliament to King Charles I complaining of a series of breaches of law. The petition sought recognition of four principles: no taxation without the consent of Parliament, no imprisonment without cause, no quartering of soldiers on subjects, and no martial law in peacetime. See also petition of right. The Petition of Right was drawn up by Charles’s third Parliament in as many years. He had maintained a tumultuous relationship with the House of Commons, which did not trust Charles and denied him taxes to finance his war against Spain. After dismissing his second Parliament, he became the latest monarch to impose a forced loan, an effective tax wherein the monarch compelled gifts from his subjects and imprisoned those who did not comply. Parliament found this to be a violation of the spirit of the Magna Carta, which provided that the monarch could not levy taxes without common consent or imprison a free man without cause, and thus drafted the Petition (at the suggestion of Edward Coke) to reclaim the rights of Parliament and of free men and to extract a recommitment from the crown to observe the rule of law. To continue receiving subsidies for his policies, Charles was compelled to accept the petition, but he later ignored its principles. Nevertheless the Petition of Right came to be regarded as a constitutional document of the government of the United Kingdom, alongside other monumental acts such as the Magna Carta and the Bill of Rights (1689).

7:30 They know so little about GDPR that the guy just landed them in a pile of doo doo. If he passes that photo he took of you to anyone in the company, then they have an obligation to let you have it and any other info attached to it, like the contents of the email used to pass it on. He is entitled to use his own phone to take his own photos even whilst working, but when it's used for work purposes it comes under GDPR rules.
@TheSadButMadLad3 жыл бұрын
And to prove that they know nothing about GDPR responsibilities, the woman told all and sundry at 12:45 that one of their staff has some sensitive personal issues. If she had kept quiet no one would know, now we all know.

"My name and number is on my shoulder", "Would you say that to a judge in Crown Court", "no", "Then why say it to me, he is one of my employies". All we ask for is a police service fit for purpose with respect. We pay enough, when can we have it?
@dancast11592 жыл бұрын
The police are not the employees of the public, in that case, they would be self-employed because the police officers also pay tax which indiscriminately goes back into the Government budget and back into the force's budget. "We pay enough" is the most flawed phrase I have heard when it comes to the police force... In 2019, 1% of state funding went into the police, this means that if you earned £22,000 a year, you would be paying £44 a year from tax directly towards to police force which the officers themselves would also be spending £44 a year to essentially fund their own paychecks, now across the board there are around 160,000 officers in the UK now, by doing the maths if you earn £22,000 a year after tax, you would (by your definition) be paying £5 a year towards each 160,000 officers paychecks HOWEVER police funding does not solely go into the officers' paychecks, you have admin staff, equipment, vehicles, buildings, resources, the list goes on and on, so all in all, the amount you would actually "pay your employees" if on average pay would be so minuscule, picking pennies off the street and giving it to the police would be more of a contribution than what your taxes pay for the people you claim are your "employees" - - - So yes, they are fully within their own respects able to show you their indentification rather than say it beacuse that's what it's there for - so that they can be indentified by anyone walking past. And MAYBE, just MAYBE if people showed a bit more respect and understanding towards the police who actually do their job, respect might be returned more wholeheartedly, after all, respect is a 2-way street :) (Disclaimer - the figures I have used are very brief so don't see them as fact rather as a guide)
@retroclickmedia44222 жыл бұрын
@@dancast1159 Now read what I said. Sadly your rant re employies means nothing as I was refering to the judge. Do you really think forces like the MET are value for money and fit for purpose when bi weekly another bad apple comes to light? If you do then you are in the minority. It is the poor and BAME communities who feel the brunt of police brutality, never reported by MSM, and complaints never up held. And yes, I do know how hard it is for good coppers, I dated one for four years. Your figures are way out as you forget monies paid via Council tax, VAT, Stamp duty, Inheritance tax, National insurance, Petrol duty, Holiday insurance, Car insurance etc.etc. Respect is a two way street and it starts with officers dressing like police officers and not para military, in this country the police are meant to be the people and police the people, to so many it does not feel that way. Post war did officers murder and rape women, did they masterbate in public places, did the sprint and hit teenage football fans round the head with battons, did they photograph murdered women, did the illegally arrest women at demonstrations, did they drive around in rainbow coloured cars, did they use laws that did not exist? AB was arrested under "The policing law" and you really belive the officer who arrested him, the three attending officers attending and the sargent were fit for purpose? It is common knowledge that the police "service" is institutionally racist, sexist and misogynistic, how can an organisation like this hold respect? If you don't realise this you really should not be commenting on a public forum.

I deal with the police on a regular basis in my job and I have seen ridiculous stuff like 9 police officers in 4 cars turn up to a report of a person 'acting suspicious' i.e a pissed guy walking up and down a street at night looking for his phone he dropped. Even if he was a crook trying to break into cars or something 9 coppers and 4 cars is a waste of resources.
