It was futuristic , not dystopian . Dystopian is a genre where the society and its beings are not normal and is different from regular society . for example a society after post-apocalyptic event . Films like Blade runner , I am legend, logan , akira, cowboy bebop, psycho pass, 12 monkeys etc. set example for dystopian movies . I believe Kalki 2898 has some hopes . The trailer looked far better than Ganapath and Adipurush !

see i have a different take on this movie. i really loved every bit of this movie. i mean the action frames, and the whole vigilante thing, the way they were shot, it was something that had a whole 'massy' mood to it. Especially the leads did a wonderful job there. The vfx, i could barely find any errors in that department, it was probably next to realistic, props to them too. Acting obviously, we have huge stars so acting is assumed to be decent. Overall, Jawan was a really great movie.

Tiger shroff has so much potential, his skills, face, body, charisma everything was so good during heropanti and baaghi which was even rivalling biggest actors of bollywood like hrithik, Unfortunately after that he has been going downhill. But its so sad because he has the capability to overthrow most of the current bollywood actors and star kids. Hopefully he gets an oppurtunity to work with better directors, production companies and way better scripts.
