When they talked about wether we could beat the aliens i was reminded of a cool fan fiction story here on KZbin called 'Humans don't give a fuck' basically after making first contact with multiple alien races all the aliens underestimate us because they do not understand our humour or banter so consider us weak for just laughing when someone insults us which eventually leads to one race pushing it too far and putting humans in a position where we have to retaliate even though all the other aliens are afraid of this particular race who are considered the strongest in the universe this is when the alien telling the story says the iconic line "this was the first time we realised Humans do not give a fuck" i won't spoil any more on the off chance anybody wants to read it themselves obviously we end up going to war and there are many more times the "Humans don't give a fuck" line pops up as we teach them just how good at war we are.

We also have something called grass (especially stalks like corn) is relatively dry at night (unless raining or recently rained, obviously) and the dew begins to collect whenever the sun starts to almost peak over the horizon. You know, "morning dew"? Lol Signs is an amazing movie, only those who aren't as smart as they think they are who try to poke holes in the movie are unable to enjoy it 😂

very VERY infancy i worked at Rivian & Tesla and they're only now implementing PLC glass for the roof panels to electrically tint the glass with current. when the power is off the glass is clear and when powered it'll fog itself over becoming fully opaque. The technology behind it is originally used for military aircraft to instantly fog the cockpit glass to prevent nuclear flash blind of the pilots and in certain installations to protect sensitive UV sensitive equipment in intervals to allow timed exposure of sensors since that's a bit faster than opening/closing shutters or rolling out platforms from hangers

@@smokeyoak wouldn't know because i quit both companies due to their lies about being American made/based, technically I'm not even legally allowed to mention literally anything I've worked on with them. Unlike Tesla however, Rivian is trying to focus more on commercial fleets and specialized vehicles which is why they're genuinely the first ever automotive company to utilize zone based architecture with the module layout, while it saves money with fewer systems and less wiring, its a real POS thing to actually implement due to nearly everything having to talk via software now vs testing individual components e.g your led taillight went out so instead of just testing the pins on that part you now have to use code to tell the east/west zone controller (depending on if its left or right side) to then send a power command to the south (rear) module which then talks to the component and back again so it becomes much more inside/software focused vs just test and replace whatever broke which means many more DTCs which allow opportunities for more errors during DTC exams

I leave a comment then 5 minutes later they say something else that i want to comment about. Kyle mentioned given the aliens alcohol which instantly made me think of a short story written by Irvine Welsh (also wrote Trainspotting" as far as i know it was only ever published in a womans magazine (Women's Realm) each week one chapter would be printed and i would always read it from my moms magazine (honest!) So its set in Scotland of course and late one night or early hours of the morning a man is sneaking home after breaking in to a chemist and a newsagents and stealing as much qs he can carry. As he is sneaking up alleys and over fields there is nobody to witness when he is abducted by aliens. Once he has calmed down they begin to communicate with him and inform him they have already left Earths atmosphere and are heading back to their home planet to show him off & conduct experiments upon him, its a long journey and eventually they gwt to asking him why he 2qs walking around alone late at night carrying two sacks and of course they ask what is in the sacks and why its so important to him that he would steal it. Try as he might he cannot get them to comprehend the point of drugs, alcohol and cigarettes so eventually he decides it would be easier to demonstrate so basically it ends up a three day party (earth days) when they all sober up and smoke the last of the cigarettes they inform him they are only a day away from their planet but then nicotine withdrawal sets in not to mention that they want more drugs and lots more alcohol so they turn the ship around and head straight back to earth where these alcoholic, chain smoking aliens use their technologies to beam the dude into various places to steal everything then move to the next place and so on and now there is no security that can prevent this burglar & his motley crew of drug addicts, his crew because im sure they make him captain of the party spaceship

I know there are many many Taylor lovers on here but i honestly think he tries too hard to be sceptical about anything thats off the wall and is very quick to poke fun at others for believing anything slightly out there. I say "too hard" because i definitely get the feeling he is just so determined to not be fooled by anything and i have to wonder if he is afraid of being laughed at for believing something that turns out to be false at least it sure feels that way to me. Maybe he has had bad experiences in the past of being mocked so now feels the need to always be on the other side and be the one pointing his finger and laughing instead of being laughed at. Let me be clear there is nothing wrong with having a sceptical mind but you should hear the evidence first and at the very least you should see the video or listen to the witness account before immediately jumping straight in to belittle someone else for having an open mind. Sorry Taylor Stans but just calling it as i see it.
