I think Boogie lied to his girlfriend about having cancer. She has been on video crying about the fact he has cancer. I believe this is real and she genuinely believes he has cancer. The emotional toll someone takes believing that their signifant other has cancer and is dying is pretty high. Him doing that to his girlfriend is really shitty to the point that it is emotional abuse or extremely manipulative at best.

It's manipulation. He knows that she is just there on a "come-up" and so his way of milking it is to act like he's going to die soon. He's just milking the situation until she realizes and leaves. Of course this is gonna expedite that process

she's gotta be a complete mess just being around him or even being able to be around him. telling your partner that you're fighting for your life when you aren't is borderline evil and shows a complete lack of empathy. assuming you're right, it would have been very satisfying if she went the way a lot of people do when they hear their lover is in a bad spot: disassociate and leave

I am in medical school. A lot of my professors are obviously MD’s. However, we also have a fair share of MD-PhD’s as well, which is when they get a dual degree during med school. We also have professors who are exclusively PhD’s. We also have NP’s and RN’s teach classes occasionally. Hell, I even had a veterinarian as one of my group facilitators for our renal block. PhD is not just literature or history or social sciences. It applies to any degree, except medicine, but can include biology/anatomy/physiology/chemistry/microbiology/etc.

Let me play devils advocate for a second. Let's say that he does indeed have cancer, and for whatever reason, he has decided to withhold the proof so that everyone thinks he faked his cancer. Now, if he shows the proof, I would believe that it is fake. He had to show it during that livestream. He had one chance to prove it and he decided not to.
