Beating on the threaded end of the shaft, no lubrication, welding through the bearings, spatter everywhere, clamping on a bearing surface, welding over slag, what a joke! And why did he use two pieces? Why didn't he just cut the last piece he used down and shove the end of it into the hole in the camshaft instead of making a pin and drilling a hole in the cam and the new tapered piece? How did that second cam lobe turn blue? How do you cut the end of the shaft to size when it's so hot that it's turned blue? How do you get an accurate measurement? Should there be that welding miss right on the seal surface? And should he have clamped onto the seal or bearing surface when cutting the keyway?

That was from a previous time when the broke the camshaft with a hammer and made a video. That video will be out next week.
