I don't get the obsession with south asian muas making their brides much paler than their actual skin tone, tan skin and dark skin is beautiful, we need to discourage colourism. A bride doesn't have to look "whiter" to appear beautiful on her wedding day. This makeup artist in particular doesn't make her clients too pale, but it isn't the best shade match as the clients face looks too bright compared to the rest of her body which looks odd. Some muas justify this by saying they do this because the foundation oxidises and becomes darker later on, it won't get darker cause it's literally 5-10 shades lighter to begin with... another makeup artist i can name that does this is sakhshi gupta. This is not hate but constructive criticism that should change the makeup culture and beauty standards in south asia. I would also like to say that tan and dark skinned brides are absolutely stunning just the way they are and don't need to bleach their skin or be beautiful, muas need to stop addressing their darker clients as "dusky" and just use the term tan or dark skin instead, nothing wrong with these words so there shouldn't be any stigma around it. if anything, them using the work "dusky" to describe darker brides sounds like they're trying to sugarcoat the fact that they're passively being racists!! I'm not saying that they are racist, but they are definitely biased towards fairer looking skin.
