Same here. We were all so quick to ditch it in favour of new platforms back then, but it's only when we look back on it all these years later that we develop a newfound appreciation for Bebo and a desire to go back to it. If we could even experience the classic Bebo era for just one day I'd be happy!

Well what do you know! Apparently it's just been announced that Bebo - probably in its original form but possibly updated a bit? - is returning soon! "February 2021" for some reason made me think "damn that's so far away" but my perception of time has been warped and oh my god that's EXTREMELY SOON! Let's all re-live those Bebo glory days as soon as it comes back! And also, it's been amazing to see this video pick up so many views and comments lately, seeing people here reminisce about Bebo is exactly what I like to see on my videos, so THANK YOU for watching!

Unfortunately it seems like our old Bebo accounts and photos are lost media, I can understand finding them awful to look back at but it would be nice for them to be archived or preserved in any way. I just went on the site and it's currently in closed beta or something like that (you can only join by invitation). From what I was reading on their site, I don't think this new Bebo is going to resemble anything like the OG version. It might be an amalgamation of today's most popular social media platforms.

Bebo was beyond amazing. Not many knew about it in America but I found out from a friend when I was 14. My life forever changed. I remember rushing home from school just to get on and talk to my overseas friends for hours about anime, Video games or we would role play. Had my first long distance relationship girlfriend and so much more. I will still to this day never forgive Facebook for coming out and basically killing bebo.
