Those male lions are so majestic with their muscle strong bodies and wonderful manes. Thank you. Loved how those two cubs loved on their dad but he wasn't too happy about it.

Did the 2 Mazithi males oust the Old Lubye Lubye male, and his son... Or was the pride abandoned by the time Smudge + his brother tookover?

Before Mazithi males, Lubyelubye pride was under control of 5 Jock males, who prob abandon the pride in 2018.. Lubyelubye male and his 2 sons got ousted by Jock males in 2016/17..

@@tr1x243 thanks man. So these 2 Mazithi males were a part of a coalition of 5 males that left together, and then they split into 2 groups... 3 & 2 correct? Are the other 3 still around, and any idea what happened to the Old Lubye Lubye males 2nd son?

@@styx5131 idk if they left the pride as 5, but other 3 males are older then this 2, they had territory around Tshokwane, but no recent updates on them.. 2nd Lubyelubye young male disapeared around late 2018/early 2019,after that only 1 was seen with his father, and he had very nasty injuries on his back, so i assume the 2nd one was prob killed by other males..

Am I the only one that sees the Mazithi genes as a catalyst for huge male lions regardless of the lionesses own gene pool ? Lubyelubye males are sons ( correct me if i am wrong ) and so are the Mantemahle's and are some of the biggest lions I have ever seen ! The sons of these Coalitions might be even bigger and there could be a very good chance in the near future we have a freakish size male and maybe it's taken this long and so many mixes to finally come to a freak of nature of a considerable size ! I thought their size would attract way more attention considering the majority of the Mazithi's offspring are huge ! Who knows if it ever occur and a beast of a lion eventuated it would not last long for poachers or hunters will seek them out dribbling at the prospect of killing the biggest lion yet ! Can't wait for their sons to mature and see where their genes are leading their bloodline? Taking it to other prides and un-related lionesses to see if it has the same effect !♥️🦁🆓️
