Very enjoyable. Liked the video. It's much easier digging form the north spit than the Cape highway side. The "abductor" muscles are the actually adductor muscles. Although the muscles facilitate partial opening and closing of the shell, they won't steal your loved ones away. . Adult crab actually. They're technically a parasite, but do not seem to negatively impact the health of the clam. . The "zipper" is called the mantle. . The giant rice noodle looking thing is a reproductive organ. . Gills are inside near the base of the syphon.

This literally was one of the best clam chowders i've ever had and have been waiting for PK's post to try and dupicate his recipe as he made it look SO EASY. i got the clam base which he said was the secret ingredient. so gonna try this but a bit of a more healthy twist, Bacon and 1/2 and 1/2 cream made the difference in taste but my cholesterol can't handle that on a regular basis. :) I had an awesome time! :)

Thank you for another amazing video. I could eat clam chowder till it comes out of my ears. This land locked desert rat doesn't ever have the opportunity to get clams, not even at any of our stores. Decades ago while on vacation, my relatives in Washington took us to the beach to dig for razor clams, but I never knew how to clean any of the clams, thank you for showing that. As always, I love watching you cook. You always make incredibly delicious looking food. Thank you again for sharing!!
