Thanks for this video - nice and to the point. I'm a little confused about hiding existing buttons - tracking some of them down is quite confusing as there are many buttons listed (more than I see on the form). I tried to hide the "Flow" button/menu but I cannot see it - are there certain buttons that are not customisable? Is there a list anywhere by any chance? Thanks again - your videos have been really helpful.

Hi Sub, some of the out of the box buttons will typically prove difficult to remove. They may be tied to specific security role privileges, which means if you remove these first, the buttons will no longer be visible to the user in question. In addition, removing them could cause you problems in future as part of upgrades. Unfortunately, as removing the Flow button is not a requirement I have ever faced before, I can't advise on the best way to proceed. Is it really that essential for your requirement that these buttons are disabled completely? Regards Joe

He Joe, short question. Today we have the new Model Driven App designer. In there we are able to customize the ribbon directly from the designer. Just wondering with having this capability how do you look at using the XRM Ribbon Tool in the future and if so what would be the use cases to keep using this tool?

Hi Paul, for the foreseeable future, we will still need to use the Ribbon Workbench for more complex ribbon amends, particularly for those that involve JavaScript or have been setup for years already. But for simple or less complex ribbon modifications, then the new Model-Driven App designer is the way to go.
