其实火炮最初都是有很多口径的，现在欧洲国家绝大多数只保留了155口径， 中国则保留了122和155两种口径。 122作为前线火炮，一般在目标后5~10公路处直接支援。 155则属于旅一级支援火炮，在前线后发20里处支援。 。所以122火炮比较简便，灵活，快打快走。

Wrong! The West uses 105 and 155. 105 is for light rapid reaction forces such as the airborne, and light infantry. 155 is for heavy infantry and armor. Both can be equipped with GPS guided munitions for extended range.
