They are all pretty much the same. Plus the best people to ask are the seniors who have just completed the plab a year ago. Common stations or aspire were good enough according to my research.

#spareroom is a scam. I had a worst experience where I was shown advertisement of a room in central London , it was horrible place , unhygienic and unsafe . Landlord was misbehaving and taken all the rent upfront and forced me to leave. #Spareroom just shared apologies email but no solution. Please avoid #spareroom . With regards Dr ShubhankSingh

Very insightful video. Dear Dr, I wanna a ask u something. I am coming to the UK with Tier5 Visa ( now in CoS waiting step) I am now looking for accomodation via SpareRoom apps ( the main things I’m concerned about are would that be ok if I rent the property without viewing or checking in person? Or is there any problem in tenant screening process? Ur advice would be highly appreciated.

Thank you for your kind words. And a very good question. Generally speaking it's best practise to view before committing to rent. However most international people don't have a choice than to take a chance on their first accomodation. Some people chose to move into an Airbnb to mitigate the risk of committing to a rental property for 6months. However that can be pricy. Some people ask their friends or relatives in the UK to go view the property. It ultimately comes down to how you want to handle the situation. I took a chance on my first rental when I moved here. I hope it helped shed some light on the matter.

No they don't refund the full amount. Every app has its own policy. You can read about it on their website.

Sorry I'm not aware of Arab countries. I do know Pakistan recognizes UK and USA postgraduate qualifications.
