This show just makes me happy, especially being stuck and not traveling since March 2020! And just give the house for free to these charming people, who are so sweet and obviously still madly in love. I've probably seen 70% of all the A Place in the Sun episodes by now. Keep 'em coming. I just can’t understand that anyone would pay so much for a used holiday home, it’s not better than a used car. 20-30 years old and more. When there are brand new homes for almost the same price and with warranty ! Old things always need DIY and that is so expensive these days both material and labor.

jajajaja Swimmimg pool it's a water depsoitory and why in your video's do you not tell people about the extra's,land registry,notary and anybody coming here now hasn't got a cat in hells chance of exchanging their driving license.And fancy living there if you don't speak Spanish.Will say one thing in summer all these places look idylic but what about in winter when you get torrential rain and floods?Lived here 25years so believe me I know what I am on about.a greeting.

Well said. Many people reinvent deposits as pools, but she should have been honest about it Also it always makes me laugh when they bang on about the weather. You can get up to 6 weeks of rain in Winter in Extremadura, and we have just had the worst winter in 70years where I live now.. Doesn't bother me ,I came for Spain, not the sun. But some of these people are going to have a rude awakening.'10minutes drive' for a loaf which is actually 20minutes unless you are going to camp outside the bakery!? Plus in rural areas they will not get the Brit staples they seem unable to live without.

​@@ducatibabe Seeing as you know so much about El Chorro you will be able to tell me where all the shops are,Bakers,Butchers,Supermarkets,Ferreterias.The two lovely Venta's which we knew there have gone by the wayside,only place to get a sandwich or drink is by the railway station.If memory serves me right it's run by a Dutch lady.

@@hogwashmcturnip8930 At the end of the day these presenters,estate agents are not your best friends they are there to sell you a property.You have to live here a number of years to know the pro's and cons.You can be as fit as a butchers dog so carrying two heavy bags of shopping up to a home where you have no car access is not a problem when you are young but when you get in your 60's and 70's then it is hard work.Funny how these vidoe's are filmed in summer.Agree with you about the floods and fires which can be very scary.Sorry to say I will tell it as it is and not gloss over things-A greeting.
