JB, We saw Placebo @De Montfort Hall, Leicester UK, 29-11-2022 @7.00pm, tickets cost £39.50 each, absolutely money well spent, we drove there cost £20 in petrol there and back, we couldn't get a parking space in all the car parks, so parked at the bottom of a one way street the road was just across from the hall, took us 5 minutes to walk across to the hall, it was a perfect performance from Brian and Stefan, I have so much love for these two guys I can't put into words( even Steve Hewitt my favourite Placebo drums player), I still have the tickets and my paper bracelet they put on your wrist at the doors before you go in, I shall treasure these items they are a reminder of one of the if not the best nights of my life, shall definitely be seeing another Placebo concert 🎸🥁🎤

I was looking through the comments to see if anyone mentioned this. I used to have a cassette tape of this gig back in the 90’s and even since then I could never work out what he was saying. So after about 2 and a half decades you have solved this mystery for me. 😆

@@Russell1982 I’m glad to be of help. Sometimes I feel his singing isn’t as clear on purpose so that he can keep us guessing the lyrics. They do love to improvise as well to keep us on our toes.

I remember reading somewhere that they didn’t print the lyrics on their album covers at first because they wanted people to focus on the music so makes sense that he’d try to almost disguise the lyrics. I mean, I spent 23 years thinking he sang “dog boy, need your whore” in ask for answers. Just found out it’s apparently “dog boy, media whore” haha.
