Let’s appreciate the freshness and talent Steve Forrest brought to Placebo during his years

Brian is such a rare treasure, blending so much talent & the almost supernatural ability to translate the human heart & mind eloquently, effortlessly, dripping with his own emotions the entire time. I can't even imagine how much energy & tenacity & commitment it must require to give THAT much of yourself day in & day out to your art, your fans, the world! Laying so much of his life & thoughts & feelings bare at every single performance would definitely be the downfall of lesser artists in just a few weeks. And Brian has been bringing that vulnerability, poetry, authenticity on a daily basis for over 20 years now! I swear he's not human, he has to be a demi-god or something. Brian Molko was born to do what he does, and we're all so lucky we get the joy of witnessing his evolution on Earth alongside our own, and having the blessing of feeling less and less alone, less misunderstood, less isolated with every line he writes. He's a genius, an incredible entertainer & as raw and open as any other artist has ever been. People think Taylor Swift gets personal in her music! Lol I think Brian wins that one, too. Thanks for letting us peek in your mind and heart, Brian! They're both beautiful! ❤️🎶🤍🎶❤️🎶🤍🎶❤️

WØW! What a backdrop. Love AW!! 😍 The first time I saw Placebo live was in 2001 in the South of France, by accident... I was travelling and just happened to arrive in a town they were playing (Antibes) on that very DATE. 🤪 Gorgeous gig: beachfront, paragliding going on in the sunset behind, band just beautifully bashing out the themes of then...! 👏 I've never seen them live since... Until they play Brighton in November, 2022! Can't wait! 😁

PLACEBO - Meds [Lyrics] I was alone, falling free Trying my best not to forget What happened to us, what happened to me What happened as I let it slip I was confused by the powers that be Forgetting names and faces Passers by were looking at me As if they could erase it Baby, did you forget to take your meds? Baby, did you forget to take your meds? I was alone staring over the ledge Trying my best not to forget All manner of joy, all manner of glee And our one heroic pledge How it mattered to us, how it mattered to me And the consequences I was confused by the birds and the bees Forgetting if I meant it Baby, did you forget to take your meds? Baby, did you forget to take your meds? Baby, did you forget to take your meds? Baby, did you forget to take your meds? Baby, did you forget to take your meds? Baby, did you forget to take your meds? Baby, did you forget to take your meds? Baby, did you forget to take your meds? Baby, did you forget to take your meds? Baby, did you forget to take your meds? I was alone, falling free Trying my best not to forget What happened to us, what happened to me What happened as I let it slip
