Placebo is still so underrated, people have no idea what they’re missing… Discovered them at 15 years old, around 2004, I’ve never looked back since. I do like other artists and bands, but none do it for me like Placebo does. Pure perfection. If you’re here too, then I like you, whoever you are. I won’t say what year it is, as I’ll be back here again as long as I live. Love you all and especially my dearest Placebo, who saw me through happy times and dark times. 💜😻😸

Everyone is NOT under rated. There are way way too many artists OVERRATED for all the wrong reasons. Most all of the rap today and all the other crap they play on the radio that continues to be made and perpetuated by the masses because they're brain dead and the entertainment companies do an astounding job making them the definition of today's "cool". By definition though, to be cool is to not be the mainstream. So yes, under rated= cool. When your mom, and your grandma, and little brother all know an artist, odds are, they are over rated!

Jiminy Lummox ......What is the meaning of this song? I can’t understand it
@Elrond_Hubbard_14 жыл бұрын
@@noor-mr8jw I don't really know. Maybe nothing. Sometimes songs can be about something specific, even if the lyrics are buried in analogy, but sometimes lyrics can just be words and phrases that don't really mean anything, but just sort of conjure a feeling. Even the repeated chorus line _'Every me and every you',_ if you think about it, doesn't really make sense in either a grammatical syntax way or even conversationally. If someone said that to me I wouldn't know what they meant. What do you mean _'every'_ me? There's only one of me, I think. Are you saying there's a clone of me somewhere? WHAT?? So yeah, doesn't make sense. Still works as a chorus. The song means whatever you feel like it means.
@ex0duzz3 күн бұрын
"Every me and every you" is not hard to understand even if it's not grammatically correct. The fact that you know it's grammatically wrong to begin with means that you know what he actually means doesn't it? IE every version of himself and every version of someone else. maybe different moods due to stuff like emotions in response to something happening, maybe just drugs like alcohol or weed etc, maybe even just the weather. It can be anything but it's pretty obvious what's what talking about rather than him referring to the countless clones of himself that exist. I guess he could also have dissociative identity disorder(ie having multiple personalities), but occamz razor is telling me it's probably not the last two possibilities that I mentioned since I doubt both of them both have clones or both have multiple personalities. The chances of that being true for for one person alone is rare enough let alone two people lol

the first time i listened to this song, i just loved to predict the lyrics. It's like poetry, i love how every word just comes together to rhyme with the next sentence. It's so meaningful, it just hit me like a damn bus. i have never had a love for something i cannot physically see or feel, I cannot help but fucking sob in joy whenever i hear this song. "like the naked leads the blind, i know i'm selfish, i'm unkind" i literally have to say that out loud when i hear this song, the theme of this song is so heavy and so nonchalant at the same time, giving me this feeling of a sunrise on a winter morning. LIKE, I've never been able to picture a song like i can with this. It's short and sweet, i absolutely cannot get enough of this band in case you could not tell, i love placebo.

I'm definitely going to check it out again. I like those movies that are kind of based in non-fiction but don't stick rigidly to reality. Party Monster was a good example, with McCulloully Culkin about the whole Limelight club scene and the beginnings of the New York rave movement. There's also a good one about New Order as well but I can't think of the film's name at the moment.

I remember watching "Cruel Intentions" for the first time. This song is the music for the opening credits. I was so flashed and had tears in my eyes. Next day I bought the soundtrack. Even today, about twenty-five years on, it is still one of my favorite songs.

@paultapping95103 жыл бұрын
@@pearljamdoothers come on now, gramps! They had charm (although not really) because they were marketed at and for us. The Katy Perry's or whatever are not for us any more so of course they seem artless. This is purely a function of getting older. Do you not think literally every generation prior to us had exactly the same thought? Dismissing The Beatles, Deep Purple or whatever The Youth was into as 'just noise'?
@MegaCevapcic3 жыл бұрын
@@paultapping9510 Thank you 😁 Only thing older music has over newer is the filter of time. Eventually the "bad" music of today will be forgotten and the good will still be listened to (comments in 2050 will be like "2020s was the last year music was good" etc) I really dislike the old times were better fallacy, it's too often used to give unfair criticism to young people.
