He is an exemplar of not only the highest achievement in the music arts, but of the human virtues of integrity, excellence and compassion. He continues to serve us all, but especially the young, as an august elder statesman in the art of opera by depicting age suitable roles on stage to this day. The young in particular tend to think the performing arts are just for the young, as if only they can be beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing.
