Plague Doctor ASMR Roleplay (You're the Doctor)

This one might tank, but here we go! So, plague doctor ASMR roleplays are frequently requested, and I ended up trying to make one based on the outbreak in Cosmeston (you can watch the bird-faced plague doctor here: • Plague Doctor ASMR (Cu... ). There’s still a fair few additional requests every so often, but to be honest, if you’re not ER making a Dr. Corvus roleplay then there’s probably not much point as you have all the content you need right there!
Anyway, ridiculous preamble aside, I decided to make another Plague Doctor ASMR, but YOU’re the doc. Eh? It was hyper confusing to film, and the silly-looking prosthetics didn’t quite work the way I wanted - and maybe it’s even a little too gross to be relaxing - but hopefully you’ll find the mirror touching, poking, prodding, and squeezing has some sort of ASMR effect. And if you’re not into the absolutely battering of my face, then perhaps you’ll like the potion and poultice making. Enjoy!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses - even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.

In terms of sounds quality but not aligned with this video kind of asme, I really love SensorAdi asmr, his channel never gets promoted by youtube which it sucks because he is a og in my eyes But if we are talking about movie like channels, I want to recommend you Atmosphere asmr (seriously good with the stories cgi etc) and that french guy which I can't remember the handle, but it is something like French Asmr or Made in france asmr most probably

Did it actually work is the question. Since last thing I remember about plague doctors during that time period and even before that most of their procedures either did nothing or made things worse Like that blood drain procedure (don't remember the name) for instance. Where they'd make you bleed out half of your blood.

The light and shadow work here is brilliant and unfathomable. Poor old farmer Jim was so gentle eyed and trusting, at the start, of being made well again. So optimistic and I suspect those 15 children were plague time orphans he took under his wing and really believed he could help at the first arrival of the plague in his village. That utter despairing look,💔 when it came over him that the doc was incapable of helping him and his orphans. I got myself drawn in too deep and swept away in imagining all that past time horrendous suffering. You broke my heart Jim5 you, you, bas..master! The last arrogant flippancy of the doc's last hand work seemed to be nicely timed with the amount of candle burning time wax needed to seal up his quack cure, hand it over and leave with zero sympathy shown for making Jim stand and suffer so unnecessarily long. Back to reality: I love the many soothing, subdued ' dubby' sounds forming this intricate soundscape with farmer Jim's soft, low vibe voice dropped in here and there. The outline of the raised medicine box lid put me in mind of a computer monitor screen on a modern doctor's desk. Ironic because the medicine box was full of guesswork cures that people (me too) indulge in while computer searching for symptoms that match their own. I'll be playing this many times for dozing off purposes, as I'll not have the usual urge to keep checking out my favourite visual bits on the screen. Standing ovation from me Jim...and Jim5. 👏💔💦

Have you considered doing an asmr video with you as Papa Emeritus/Cardinal Copia from the band Ghost? I really think your face would look great in the Papal paint, and the characters are very interesting. Papa Emeritus II (Secondo) is very intense, Papa III (Terzo) is very flirty, and Papa IV (Copia) is very sweet, so there's a lot of potential there 🙂
