The crusher and boiler were from the game Aliens:Colonial marines The bull, flying, and swimmer alien come from the comics and the Neca toy line The chrysalis came from the Alien vs predator arcade game The Praetorian first appeared in the comics and later in the video games The carriers and ravages were from the game aliens versus predator: extinction The predaliens appeared in the comics, but they are best known from the move, Aliens vs predator: Requiem I'm not sure if the newborns are in this scenario, but they came from the movie alien: resurrection You said you've only seen the first two alien movies, which is fine because they're the only good movies in the franchise. (That should be all the information you should need for this scenario, if there is any information I missed feel free to reply)

A lot of Xeno forms and abilities come from the extended universe (Boiler, Spitter, and Crusher are from the Colonial Marines video game; Chrysalis and Flying Xeno are from arcade games, and the Swimmer Xenos are from comics, and the Bull is likely a nod to the third film's director's cut, where the Alien impregnated an ox instead of a dog, as well as a toy made by Kenner). Whoever made this plugged the Wiki for some of the more interesting breeds, I'll give them that.

The xenomorph is a very diverse species due to it's abilities to basically be a DNA hijacker. All of these variants and abilities you see are in the lore. However the only ones seen in the movies were the queens, drones, warriors, spitters, runners, predaliens, and standard facehuggers.

I mean, I wouldn't say it'd sound like crappy fanfic considering the scenario implies (something that is also implied in Aliens) that the Chestburster adapts itself depending on the host's genetic structure. If you take that into mind, is it that insane that a chestburster that comes out of a dog would develop into a very different Xenomorph than one from a Human? On top of that, you can always take examples from other swarm aliens in popular Sci-Fi. The Zerg, for example, also change their genetic structure of a hive to adapt to threats. I haven't read all of the comics (although I recognize a few of these) and just a bit of reading and knowledge that Xenomorphs are: -A swarm kept together by a psychic link; -Adapt based on a host's genetic structure and are able to further develop said structure very rapidly. Is all you really need to know, just reading the tooltips carefully actually gives you all the info you need to know like how Praetorians can develop into a Queen if a Queen happens to die.

20:56 i know i'm 2 years late but i wanted to share some theories about how he could have done it (i'm a begginer programmer myself) 1.the easiest thing to do (and the least funny one), he could just have made having praetorian as a winning condition 2.He could calculate the winning chance of the elite team to kill the queen depending on how much infected there are and how much dead 3.He could calculate it depending on the severity and lethatiliy of the plague 4.He could give each symptome possible a value and if the value of your plague is lower than the strenght of the team, you loose (he could calculate the strenght of the elite team depending on how much survivor there are) Thats the idea i've come up with a bit of thinking, The creator of this scenario could have done something totally different

I think this scenario would be a better fit for the simian flu; managing the colonies as hives and ape migration could be aliens spreading into neighboring countries to collect more hosts. The ape stealth and combat options could easily connect to the xeno sub-breeds like drones and soldiers. And other stuff like that would be much better

Much better on this one my dude, i recommend checking out the other source materials (comics, novels and info supplied by the NECA toy line) this can help explain some of them alien types and how they came to be part of the Alien lore. Also recommend checking out sources on the Predator, this helps tie in the relationship between Predator and Alien. Keep up the awesome content. Cant wait to see if the is a scenario for Predator playthrough.

2:28 yer the films bearly scratch the surface of the lore (like a lot of fandoms to be fair) and the Aliens lore is quite extensive and winding crossing over from comic to books to games and other films like the Predator films, a cartoon and a toy line and this is not even counting the fan made stuff (though I would hope that all the people that work on a franchise are fans of it or at least have a liking for the setting, sadly this is quite often not the case and some people will actually hate the setting they are working on and only do it with an eye the change it into something else, this is currently happening with Netflix’s version of the Witcher). As for Aliens I think the biggest ruling class of Xenomorph was the Red Queen mother who is the size of a two story house (about 3 to 4 times the size of the Queen from the film).

Aww, common. It's obvious that Defending and Aggression pacts are like different "approaches" to the game. And if "defending" has "winning condition" on it, you could guess that it leads to "peaceful" ending. Really big deal of people disliking the previous video about this plague is, I think - is you skipping all of the descriptions and not thinking "outside of the box" of infectivity/severity/lethality thing and getting random things. I, myself, enjoy a lot more when you pick certain "path' and try to follow it, instead of picking everything to "show what map has to offer". because usually it just breaks the scenario and looks illogical ^^ Most of the times you are getting out with it only because you are playing on Normal and have the experience to still carry through it no matter how many counterproductive things you do.
