I truly think some are born evil. Side Note: "it's the other member of Korn..." Brings back memories. My very first concert was a MegaDeth concert. Korn Opened up for them. Drummer threw drum sticks out to the women and 2 girls streaked the show! Some strange guy snuck up, got around my bf and grabbed my melon. Security and Multiple guys in the audience (including my bf) beat the Beatle juice out of that guy before throwing him out. Then I got to beat the brakes off the guys..they loved it. Second concert I’ve ever been to was SOAD and Korn was opening. I made eye contact with Serj, Daron sprayed us with water, and my friend and I ended up behind the most fucked up drunk man in the whole venue 😭 this dude was FUCKED UP before the show even began, slurring and falling everywhere. He started moshing before Korn even came out when the roadies were playing random riffs on stage and kept falling on me and my friend had to hold me upright 😂 the dude started hitting the security guard who was trying to get him to leave and got carried out but he eventually snuck back in to the same exact spot lmao. Definitely one of the best nights of my life

Take as much time out for your fam as you need to, and for your mental health as well. Haters gonna hate, and honestly it's hilarious how many of them are at least honest about how jealous they are of you instead of hiding behind purity culture moral abuse bs. And yeah, Albert Fish… That fucking letter, man. Something about it just engraves itself in the back of your mind like a nightmare. A few years back a tv show called The Alienist came out that heavily incorporated a lot of the details of Fish's life into the main antagonist in a way that I found really interesting, and at one point they actually used Fish's letter almost verbatim, and even though it had been ages and ages since I first read it, I immediately recognized it and got such chills. It was a pretty good show that highlighted the same point you mentioned about mental healthcare and examined the question of whether we can prevent these kinds of monsters from being made. Sadly, the answer of course is that society has to change a whole hell of a lot for that to happen.

I read a book about Albert Fish years ago (I can't remember the name of it....."Deviant" maybe?), anyway, his case always stuck with me. The horror of knowing that Grace Budd literally handed him the tools he would use to butcher her, out of sheer innocence and good manners, trying to be helpful to someone she trusted.....is still gut-wrenching to me even today. The letters he wrote to her parents.....pure unfiltered evil. Fish was an absolutely abhorrent, irredeemable monster. Ed Gein was SICK, Albert Fish was EVIL. Regarding his masochism, 17 needles were removed from his scrotum after his execution. There was also a rumor that when they threw the switch, it shorted the chair and blue smoke rose from him. NOT TRUE, just an embellishment that grew over time....but his story doesn't actually NEED any. It's horrifying enough without the embellishments.

This has got to be the only man in history who looked forward to and enjoyed the electric chair. Btw, just a note--there is no such thing as "medically insane." "Insane" and "insanity" are legal terms, not medical ones. So sorry about your daughter's diagnosis--but she's going to be fine. Try not to worry too much. A keto diet can help her (helped my T1 cousin immensely) but yah, medical science is an amazing thing and they know how to allow her to live a happy, normal life. My thoughts are with you!

My good friend and role model has type 1 diabetes and has still managed to free travel and squat for years. It's hard just seeing him hypo but it's still not totally life debilitating. I wish you and your family the best
