Having a detailed description of those transitions and routines is so helpful! They're such anchor points for kids, and really helps the sub keep everything moving smoothly. I wish all sub plans included these!

Hello I plan to be first grade sub . Do the kids know how to use the computer?? Is there an assistant to help the sub?

At this point in the year if computers are something utilized frequently in their school first graders should know how to use them for regular routines. Some schools have teacher assistants but not most. I would contact the school you are subbing at with that question - hope that helps! Thanks for subbing 😊
