I strongly dislike the color red, but my niece turns 3 on Thursday and she LOVES red! So I decided to do a red spread in honor of her birthday. She is my twin sister's little girl, and one of my favorite people on this earth. I can't believe she will be THREE! Happy birthday, Maddie. Aunt "Header" loves you more than you will ever know!

I'm super glad you showed us you getting frustrated with it and scrapping some of it! As a newbie I have a tendency to keep layering and trying to make me feel better about it because I'm afraid of trying to remove the stickers. Ahhh yes, the things us Aunties do for our nieces and nephews lol For my niece's 3rd, Frozen had just come out and was ALL the rage so she had a Frozen party. My gift to her was to take her to a little salon that's just for kids so she could get her hair to be like Elsa's (essentially just an updo). While we were there, she started crying and me and my daughter (who was 18 at the time) were trying to calm her down and ask what was wrong and she said she was sad because there would be no one dressed like Anna or the snowman. So, of course, guess who became the snowman and Anna...yup you guessed it, my daughter and I. The sweet girl who was doing my niece's hair said she was her last client of the day and she'd do a quick updo for both of us. Luckily my daughter bit the bullet and was the Snowman while I was Anna. If you guys actually knew me you'd know I HATE HATE HATE having my hair up and most definitely hate how I look in an updo but I will do anything for my niece and her brother. Let's just say the family, who were all waiting at my sister's for the birthday girl to get back to start the party, were all shocked that not only did we have our hair done too but that Aunt Bridgie(yes, my familly calls me that lol) had her hair up for the first time in, well, forever haha Happy Birthday Maddie!!!

Heather, I really like this red/black/white spread. Gave me some great ideas using the black and white florals I have. I did cringe every time (there were several) you used the word ‘hate’ with such vehemence for a color. I’ve been following you a while and it doesn’t seem consistent with ‘you.’ So glad to see you use the phrases ‘not my favorite’ and ‘not a fan’ in your written narratives. Again, really liked how this turned out and the ideas you inspired. Thx and have a great celebration week and fun at the party. Would love to see a picture of the sweet birthday girl in this spread after the pen as I know she will be in red. 😊

Too many changing sticker positions. I can see where perfectionism can be a problem. A picture of Maddie in circle would be cute. Balloon on birthday & party hat on Saturday. Birthday on date. Celebrate on Saturday. Just my preference.

For me this playing whit the sicker is not practical. I am looking for planning idea but till now can find any. It is not practical I have to ride a lot, so I need space and not cover all the boxes.
