Love this one, Jules! Goals I achieved this year, improved my conversational Spanish, led two big design projects which led to bigger projects for my team. Some goals I’m thinking through for the next year: conversational fluency in Spanish, create art for the people I love (including myself!), and focus on a couple of professional skills. Something that also came up for me is something I’d like to let go of: the hustle. For so long I’ve always had a side hustle, something that’s generating money, but that isn’t particularly enjoyable. I’d like to explore what it feels like in Q1 to not be scheming about how to turn my hobbies into income. I’m tired. With that in mind, I think my word of the year will be generosity. I had to pause the video at 1:26. My word for the year 2020 was also "Connect" and I chose the word on New Years Eve right before 2020 started. I was hoping to connect with more people and connect with my loved ones. Well... 8 days later I met a guy who is my now husband. LOL! That was a LOT of connection! So while others might view the word "connect" as a fail for 2020 (hello, pandemic--talk about the MOST disconnected year), it most definitely was a connection year for me. 😊❤

Can you please share your itinerary for Korea? It's on my long list for top travel places! I also love that you are going to switch to more long form KZbin videos. I absolutely love listening to your videos and get so inspired and Instagram definitely doesn't give me enough inspo from you! Because of you I have been getting better at using Notion and it is now my main source of note keeping and task tidying for work. I've even introduced my co-workers to start using it and it's been amazing bc we can easily share and collaborate together! Hey Jules, love your content as always! I went ahead and grabbed your Notion template. 🪴 One question: I find this setup awesome for projects that have a clear beginning and end, but I'm struggling to make it work for long-term, skill-based goals like "Learn Italian" or "Get better at drawing/illustration". Since these are more abstract goals without a clear end date, I find it really hard to keep myself accountable / track my progress. Do you have any tips on this? How do you handle your Korean learning for instance?

My problem is always overloading myself with goals/tasks - projects seem like they won't take much time until I break them down into smaller pieces and then I realize I don't have enough time in a day/week to actually do that much (especially since I'm struggling with chronic fatigue). Trying really hard to not let this be discouraging and set reasonable goals for 2023 that will still let me feel like I'm moving forward.
