eleonora giannetti No worries at all!! IEP stands for Individualized Education Program, which is basically the special education program for students with disabilities. The IEP stickers I use are to mark the meetings that we hold for these students to discuss their progress and areas that they need support! Hope that makes sense! 😊

I work in the disability sector and when I saw IEP I was like noooo can't be the same thing and it's made me smile that it does! Love your planning style too ✌️

Side note: I hate how light in color the sharpie ultra fine pens are! Does anyone know of a pen with the same permanent marker ink that is "blacker"?

Sakura MicroPerm and Pilot permanent marker are both better than the Sharpie. They have a finer tip and are more black. The Pilot is my absolute favorite!

There is also a permanent marker from Staedtler Lumocolor that I've heard is awesome on vinyl but I haven't tried it yet. I'm glad I found these other options because even though I love a lot of the shops that carry vinyl, I used to never order from them because I hated how my writing looked!

What is an IEP, and is it a prerequisite for all of the KZbin planner people?!? It seems like all of you that I watch, all have IEP's!!!

IEP stands for Individualized Education Program for children with disabilities. They're very detailed on what your child needs during schooling. We just finished my daughters' in April; they're very time-consuming because of how detailed they are but it's so beneficial.

Monica Bryant That's just because so many planner folks are teachers! The SPED department works with parents, specialists, and doctors to make the IEPs for students with special learning needs and then work with general population teachers to implement the plans and do the accommodations for each student in their classes. That's why lots of teachers have IEP meetings even if they don't work in the SPED department. Lots of parents don't know about this accommodation so definitely look into it if you have a child with learning or processing disorders that are subtle and hard for the teacher to identify in class.
