pro tip I recently learned: when drawing a straight line, look where you wanna go with your pen, not where you are with it. Does that make sense? Don’t look at where you just put the pen on the paper but further in the direction of where the line is supposed to be :D

Haven't had coffee, tea or soda (any caffeine) for months. It was a horrible struggle through headaches and general lethargy for the initial week... but then OMG! I have such energy now! A constant flow of energy that doesn't go away until bed time :) I don't know if there's an end all be all way of quitting but I'll tell you what I did... I substituted for juice. I know it isn't going to sedate the coffee craving... but it created a new habit for me. I wake up and drink freshly squeezed orange juice or juice some apples and greens in my juicer every morning. I rarely even think about coffee anymore and if I do the thought is fleeting. Good luck to all you coffee junkies who are trying to get over it

Ugh the theme is so cuuute ♥️ About reducing coffee intake, I had the same problem. I ended up using green tea, but only when I craved coffee REEEALLY bad haha. Just be careful so you wont just switch them and end up hooked on green tea tho. Hope this helps! Love you!

For reducing coffee intake -- I figured out that a big reason I was having such a hard time cutting back was that I hugely prefer hot drinks over cold ones, so I'd always be naturally inclined to make coffee/tea over having a plain aul glass of water. I started having a mug of regular hot water whenever I figured I should drink something, and that ended up helping a ton lol. Also, take it slowly if you need to. I've tried going cold turkey with coffee and every time, I start getting splitting headaches from caffeine withdrawals. Things like using a smaller mug, filling your mug a little less, making it weaker than usual, etc....they can all really help, in my experience! Good luck! (Also, pink & mint is pretty much the perfect colour combination, and works so well with the retro diner theme ♥)

Yes! As soon as I saw your theme I also thought about The Jetsons! I believe the show was made during the 50's/60's so lots of the architecture in the show followed that futuristic, angular, neon architecture seen in real life.

I've been cutting back my coffee by brewing two pots- one normal and one decaf. I started with 3/4 cup caffiene, then 2/3, and so on. I'm down to 1/4 cup of caffeinated coffee! Next I'm going to start reducing the total coffee volume until I eventually fully switch to either tea or half a cup of decaf.
