Yes, invest in a laminator. You can find one at Hobby Lobby and use their 40% off coupon you can find online. Either that or if you don't plan on laminating very often use Office Depot or Staples. They will laminate things for you.

Love love your videos! Advice with laminating your own dividers: use an iron! Pop the divider in the laminate sheet, pop it between a single newspaper page, and iron on a hard flat surface, (two dots, no steam!) I’m an absolute perfectionist, and they came out perfect! You don’t need to store a laminator, and you can get right up to the edge of what you’re laminating with the edge of the iron. Honestly, best experiment I ever did!

I can never decide if I love your makeup videos or your plan with me videos more... Luckily, I don't have to decide - thank you for doing both! I'm a calligrapher and one tool that I LOVE for erasing small smudges or little mistakes is a Tombow Mono Sand Eraser. It has very fine grit within the rubber material so it helps to buff out little imperfections. Maybe give it a try on that small spot your tripod left. Happy Monday!

I LOVE how you organize your planner. An inspiration!! I'm not into the childish designs that are so popular right now. I find myself drawn more to your style. I had a planner for EVER and recently started using the circles (3 colors) to keep on track; red (reminders), orange (events/dates), and yellow (birthdays). I am also using washi to mark when hubby is away on business. Not sure I can do the different shapes like you, but I can definitely do the 3 colors with the Avery Removable dots. Yay for your bonus video! Love your Plan with Me series and love all of your fun ideas. If you really don't want to buy a laminator, try to find a teacher store (or better yet a teacher friend!) and they have an industrial (read stronger!) laminator that you can use. They usually charge a few cents per yard or something (but teachers can use the school laminator for free) I am a teacher and I laminate all kinds of different paper sizes and thicknesses and they hold up so well. I am in California but if you get desperate, send them to me and I will do it for you! :)

you can just take it to Office Max/Depot and they will laminate for you. very cheap!! and they do a great job. If you do not have that store, check at Staples. Lovely planner!!

+Amy Kleine I'm not sure...I think I just mentioned it in one of my earliest planner videos. I like Outlook because it's what we all use at work (it's also nice that it adds the meeting address to my phone), but for whatever reason I forget stuff on my Outlook calendar all the time. Maybe it's the act of writing the keeps dates and appointments in my mind. That's how I would study in school - rewriting class notes, so it must be how my mind works. I also only do handwritten notes in meetings. I am trying out a journaling app on my phone, and it's going ok so far. : ))

+Isabel Velazquez Hi, Isabel! In other planner videos, I show that I always tape in a sheet of paper each week - that gets super messy throughout the day. I use it as a scratch pad, to-do list, to take phone messages, etc. That keeps the actual day in the planner very neat. I also try not to fill too much of the planner out in advance - mostly because things come up and get crazy like you mentioned. : )

do you have a xyron? I bought one years ago for a piece I was working on for a show, but I find myself using it so much for things like this! it's a sticker maker. you can basically create your own stickers - any shape with any type of paper or printouts. for people who know design software, the possibilities are endless! oh, and you can buy replacement cartridges for the machine in either permanent or repositionable adhesive. and it's very small to store. love these videos! and don't worry about mistakes. planners are meant to be used and lived in!

I love the features of this planner, but I'm not sure about the color. I'm a definitely pink girl and salmon/coral is beautiful, but this looks pretty orange, which I do not like at all. It is so hard to tell online.
