Just found your channel and I am so excited I did! Now I'm thinking of getting a daily planner. I can't wait to set up my Passion Planner for the year. I love being creative and organized and I found Passion Planner would be the best. Plus the Passion Roadmap is awesome. Thanks for your video!

Passion Planner is definitely an upgrade from the other planners that I have used! The roadmap is by far one of the best goal setting pages... It really did help jump start my Etsy shop and KZbin channel. I wouldn't have had the nerve to try without that planner. Thanks for watching! 😊

Hello Sally! Found your channel today while searching for Passion Planner…had a rough week with family medical appointments and wanted to say hi and thank you! This video had me laughing beyond belief because I have had an extremely busy week with work and hospital stuff and it’s only Wednesday. Thank you for sharing your planner journey! I’ve been a rings girl for two decades and have tried all the spirals and bounce back to Happy Planner now and then. But I am on a search for something book bound and not as heavy…fast forward to Hobonichi Weeks and Hobonichi Cousin for 2023 for me after 6 months of research. passion Planner was sold out of style I wanted then saw Hemlock and Oak and those are sold out also. But 2023 is what I call my “Planner Discovery” phase with stickers which is new to planning. So yes I bought up all these stickers not knowing they don’t all fit into these boxes in planner even if they say “fits all”, there are specific measurements. But after a month of sticker play I am just a minimal, functional sticker planner because when I am done with my spread…”where do I plan my day?” I ask myself after all the sticker deco is done with all these kits…there is no room. And these KZbinrs most are in belief of no white space on planner…lol! So thank you for sharing your journey, we all have been through the planner dilemna and each time you pulled out a new planner I was thinking, “Sally has had more planners in a couple of years than I had the last decade”. But it’s all a process we need to go through because our lives change and our planning needs change. Just depends what stage in life you are at and what is the ultimate goal of your planner in your life…I was glad to see you have an Etsy shop also. So once I can afford one of those fancy cutting machines I will be a life customer. But I need a new computer and a fancy printer yes I found out you need more memory for the software and upgrades not just the cutting machine. You are doing a great job! I’ve watched a lot of planning KZbinrs but I stopped watching a lot because I want to focus on the ones who plan in their planner and use their planners and if they have an ETSY shop well those will be my focus. You have minimal functional sticker style which is what I decided I am and will keep all the extra sticker deco in my Memory Albums. So just a suggestion…can you use your stickers from your shop in you left planner spreads? It will help your subscribers and us newbie sticker people. And it will boost your sales also so double whammy! I love how you can find humor in your planner journey…yes I do believe in planner burnout. I have 3 planners this year 2 Hobonichi and one medical one for my disabled Mom that I manage. And this year people show their planner lineup for the 2023 7 plus planners…and I ask do you use each one? Or is it for KZbin show? Which lead me back to Passion Planner because she was at the GO Wild 2023 planner convention (sold out/ could not go). So I love book bound planners…I look forward to seeing your subs grow as well as your Etsy shop.-Your Sub in CA and future Etsy customer…take care Sally!

I'm sorry to hear about your rough week and appreciate the time you took out of your busy schedule to comment on my video. 🥰 I'm going to try my best to answer your questions... If I miss anything, I apologize. Hemlock and Oak do sell out quite quickly, I think I might have preordered mine around September or October of last year? But I loved their style so much that I printed off their weekly version and use it in a Big Happy planner cover for 2023. 😉 I'm also taking a guess here, but you fell "victim" to purchasing all of the fancy monthly sticker kits as well. 🤦‍♀️ It's just so dang hard to pass them up when you are new to stickers and, well yeah, you put them all on your page and then you're like, "now how am I supposed to plan on this thing with all of the stickers?" 😅 So, yes, I've learned to keep my sticker use at a minimum and "decorate the page" with my plans and writing. Also, I LOVE the white space on a planner layout! It helps balance everything out. 😊 I'm also glad to hear that you got enjoyment out of how many planners I have used and owned since starting my planning journey. I debated about putting all of them in the video, but I had to do it. I just knew somewhere out there, somebody had that many as well. As for my Etsy shop, I will admit memory space on the computer is necessary for running Design Space and Inkscape smoothly. The printer, however, is my basic HP envy deskjet that I had from my college years. I am hoping to add a Laser printer to my lineup this summer, as I want to dabble in heat transfer foiling. I do use my stickers in my planner spreads from time to time in my weekly layouts. However, I never use them in my budget planner, that one is functional only. 😉 The stickers in my shop are sized for a Classic Happy planner, but I have used them in my big sized Hemlock and Oak printable weekly and they meet my needs. Sure, they do not line up perfectly in the rows in a big planner, but I was never one to always play within the lines anyway. 😂 You can see how my layouts come together on my Instagram account. I always share After the Pens so that my viewers can see how a layout looks before it's written in and after it's written in. Take care, and again thank you for the wonderful comment. @@planningwithsally Hi Sally! I don’t have to start work tonight until an hour later…so I am watching KZbin…no don’t change how you present the content on your channel. This is what I am looking for…the genuine creators who go through the same or partially the same process as us in the planner journey. It’s funny you mentioned what you did with your Hemlock and Oak printout, I was thinking of making a practice one so I can familiarize myself with the layouts. Yes I fell into the sticker trap. But I pre-plan, then do monthly, then do weekly then do daily always been my way for decades with the ring binder system. These stickers get in the way…they are pretty! But I just decided for 2024 they will just be accents but do I love the functional stickers!!!! Especially the tiny icons. It’s ok if you can’t respond to my questions right away. I understand we are all busy. But I do appreciate you taking the time to reply. Thanks for great content! Let’s grow this channel! Have a wonderful 🐣 Easter!

@steffymuz Curious to know how your Passion Planner journey is going. I switched to the Hemlock and Oak weekly for 2023. Although I do really love the layout and reflection areas, I will have to admit that I am missing my Passion Planner.

@giocondakisses I've always been attracted to the Freedom Planner (no pun intended). 😅 I've never taken the plunge and tried it though. Just curious to know which planner you selected and how is it working out. Just recently, I've added the Maniscripting Journal to my line-up and I am in LOVE with it!

Funny….not funny! Lol I have tried all of the planners … Erin Condren, Passion Planner, book bound planners, Bullet Journal, to name a few. What I find is that I do miss the joy that I get from The Happy Planner. (The name is so fitting). I love the blank canvas in which the pages provide for creativity, I love that pages are removable. I love the customization, the fun accessories, etc. I always return to the Happy Planner so I have learned that it is the planner for me. For journaling, I have used Hobonichi since 2017! I wish you the best of luck! Enjoy your Passion Planners!

Happy Planners are a lot of fun to plan in... unfortunately, I never actually kept up with them. Probably because I had like ten of them at a time.. lol. I'm glad that they work for you and bring you joy. Best wishes for you on your planning journey as well. 🥰
