The 52 Kriegsloks were built during WW2 weren't they? Amazing any survived. Wonderful looking engine.

froggleggers Yes they were built in mass to support the German war effort, actually many survived continuing into the 80s in regular service in Poland and Turkey. It is quite amazing given they were meant to be disposable locomotives!
