For a full investigation, officials need to physically retrace the steps of the plane from its point of departure. Did some major piece of the plane fall off immediately after takeoff? A major piece of the puzzle may be lying in an area no one has been to.

I suppose it's possible but if a major part of the Leerjet had fallen off, the crew would have noticed instantly and called in a Mayday. But they went from "everythings good" to augered into nothingness in an instant.

Brian the plane was either in full power-on stall or pilot suffered from classic spatial disorientation from momentary instrument failure. Either way this was a pilot augering the jet into the ground at full power. Doubt it was suicide.

I see nothing wrong with opining. IMO, they were in IMC (inside clouds) and the dive has the telltale signs of spatial disorientation. These Learjets are fast jets, designed by Lear with fighter jets in mind, so the accelerations induced in these jets can affect your inner ears.

Get your news by digging. The military chopper is a case solved, with very ugly realities in tow. What we already know about this one is that the NTSB would rather say (2:55) it is an accident immediately rather than simply let the facts (which are none at all) determine the categorization of the loss of flight control. We do not have enough information to make any statement(s) of cause yet. That would take familiarity with truth and reasonable competency.

I get the sentiment with two fatal accidents so close together and so publicized but speaking statistically worldwide it would barely qualify as an anomaly. The DC accident has been waiting to happen for decades because you probably shouldn't fly military VIP helicopters in overlapping routes with a busy airports restricted airspace and I'm guessing we will hear the other one was catastrophic failure due to improper maintenance. Private Mexican companies like the one that crashed have a bad track record with such things. Just a thought.

Why the explosion was followed by the traditional black cloud of smoke which is the result of jet engine fuel burning? Why video shows debris from aircraft?

NOT claiming it was a missile BUT cruise missiles have turbine engines - sound - and run on jet fuel. J.S. However cruise missiles are about 18-24" in diameter while the 55 is about 7' in diameter -addressing the debris. Added - we owned a L55 and the sound from that crash was an aircraft - not a cruise missile. When the aircraft struck the ground - there was a big red / yellow flame of slow burning jet fuel. When a cruise missile hits the explosive blast / flash is white and very high velocity. Almost like a camera flash AND the shock wave breaks windows for miles. My guess at this point is the crew either got disoriented or had an instrument malfunction ( IFR ) , rolled over in the dark / rain / fog and never recovered.

Slight turn to the right. Slight turn to the left. It sounds like the mechanisms were jammed and not responding properly to commands that caused it to fishtail and plunge with the engines at full power. The plane was supposed to make a right turn, which failed. The pilot then attempted to turn left in order to determine if the control in this direction worked. The plane reacted like a stuck mechanism sudden sprang into action. Grease on gears is supposed to be washed off before new grease is applied. If this is not done, but grease is merely added, over time grease becomes sticky or waxlike resulting in a delayed response. A gear remains stuck for a moment then breaks loose. I am familiar with this concept from operating a printing press where timing is critical. There is also an instance in which a person pressed the trigger on a gun, nothing happened, so he assumed that it was not loaded, when a minute later it went off. There was also an instance in which the elevator gear in the tail of a plane was stuck.

@@xcalibertrekker6693 Yes, it came down with the engines at full power making it appear to be a missile. The plane seems to have fishtailed and plunged. I used the wrong term. I believe stall refers to when engine power is insufficient to keep the plane moving forward and it drops.

It initially looked like the aircraft was on fire, but in fog the lights created the appearance of flames. The way the aircraft went into the ground - it's unlikely the CVR is intact. There were no coms beyond the pilot acknowledging departure information. I'm guessing the crew lost control somehow ( several ways ) rolled the aircraft over in the dark / rain / fog and couldn't recover.

@@charaps2608 Several year ago there was a CRJ flying at altitude. The pilot PFD started indicating a climb. The pilot responded by pushing the nose down without cross checking the co pilot PFD or altimeter or the stand-by HSI. He almost lost it, but had enough altitude to recover. In this case whatever happened - there wasn't enough altitude to recover.

The flight data recorders during the Black Hawk incident were under water. With skilled divers knowing how to locate underwater. The black box on this aircraft was on the ground. And 90 minutes is a long time for that box to be laying around. They're designed to withstand an accident. A restaurant had shrapnel from the crash that went through the building. That gives you an idea how fast and how far debris travels. I'm not sure why she felt it necessary to mention the number of NTSB agents. I'm sure there is a large pool of law enforcement that could widen the search to help find the box.

@tanyawieczorek6603 6 күн бұрын
I'm sure they strap those down very securely.. and how heavy would a gurney with a small child be, anyway? My initial thought was possibly a faulty oxygen tank, explodes, takes out the plane's hydraulics at which point there's no recovery..
@Rodmachoman45fr
@Rodmachoman45fr 6 күн бұрын
Was there equipment on board heavy enough to shift and cause a stall?..thats possible, depending on the weight. but the flight trajectory doesn't actually support that, in my opinion. The airplane climbed to, 1400 feet AGL and flew "level" before descending and coming down at a 60 degree angle to the ground. If the airplane was able to obtain a "level" attitude, then the weight shift theory doesn't work. Meaning, that if the pilot was able to level the airplane after climbing, which did happen, then why would he lower the nose to go down at only1400 feet above the ground? A stall can occur at any airspeed if the critical "angle of attack" is exceeded. However, I think this accident was caused by an explosion of an engine, which damaged or took out the control surfaces, or an explosion inside, possibly some sort of medical device that destroyed the control surfaces. My analysis is just my opinion based on the limited information currently available. I don't think this flight had a black box, therefore, based on the extensive damage of the aircraft, it is going to be difficult to determine the cause of this crash.. ( private, instrument, commercial, multi-engine rated pilot)

I saw no evidence of an onboard explosion or aircraft fire from the 2 or 3 seconds I was able to view of the aircrafts descent to the ground. I didn't know they had been level at 1400 AGL. @@tanyawieczorek6603 Yes, everything is supposed to be secure, just as an oxygen tank onboard should have passed inspection and not be faulty. I have not viewed every video of the aircraft's final descent, but on those ai have viewed, I did not see anything which would indicate an explosion. The possibility cannot be ruled out, however. I have flown many planes, and things break/malfunction. This is why I was paid so much money as a pilot. Sometimes things happen which are not covered by any checklist. Not so much an accident but an actual revelation. On this plane there were 6 people who died and 1 person in their car. And it happened in Philadelphia. Revelation 3:7 7. “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia,* write this: And with the Reagan airport crash was also a Revelation. In this crash 67 people died. 6+7=13 Revelation 13:6-7 It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling and those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was also allowed to wage war against the holy ones and conquer them, and it was granted authority over every tribe, people, tongue, and nation. What does this mean? It means that the antichrist is here and the Church is about to be persecuted. It’s no coincidence that the Reagan crash happened with 2 Presidents who survived an attempted assassination and Revelation 13 mentions about the survival of the beasts attempted assassination.

Is it possible the hospital bed or a large oxygen tank was not sufficiently secured prior to take-off and after gear-up, during the climb, rolled far enough back to cause a momentary far aft CG, leading to an extreme pitch up, followed by a stall, which the pilots countered by pushing the nose down, probably adding power, as would be the normal procedure. But after the sudden pitch down, the loose equipment might have moved forward, again moving the CG, but this time to a far forward position, with enough force that it impacted the cockpit, forcing the pilots and the flight controls into full forward nose down position. Elevator surfaces might be insufficient to raise the nose, or the pilots could have become incapacitated due to the impact of the equipment, and the aircraft continued nose down, full power, which would produce the fight path seen on video. It takes 10 mins to speculate about the possible sequence of events, 15 mins to type it, but only about a minute for it to happen. RIP to all the deceased.

The constitution limits what the government can do with respect to the people. It does not apply to a private corporation limiting rights to post “speech.” Just like a private business can limit some of your other rights when you are on their property.
