0:00 Antonov Bureau Flight 77 was a regularly scheduled cargo flight from Washington Dulles International Airport to Los Angeles International Airport in California. Shortly after takeoff, the Antonov AN-225 operating the flight suffered catastrophic explosive decompression due to metal fatigue on the tail causing one of the horizontal stabilizers to break off, which only made it worse as shortly after that the vertical stabilizer broke off too, leaving only the right vertical stabilizer hanging on. However the plane sadly entered a dive as the tail section then broke off, which meant that saving the plane was impossible. The plane then entered into a 90 degree bank then slammed into the ground. The 3 people on board sadly passed away. It was later determined that the cause of the crash was an improperly repaired tailstrike only a year earlier.
