Tbh using 1x7 beams is completely idiotic as it gets shredded easily by guns and when its destroyed it leaves a bigger empty space than normal blocks. tnt also isnt as op as people may think,as bullets still go through, meaning blocks behind it still get damaged. I make armor mostly by compressing identical structures into each other so it works like composite armor. It absorbs the rockets pretty well depending on how much you compress into each other. Its best if you have maybe a pixel or two sticking out of it or else its useless because they have the same hitbox. The hitboxes have to be still a bit offset to each other.

Use the Diamond plat material. Its the strongest out of all the materials, and can survive 2 and sometimes 3 rockets.

Or spaced armor, Its a Sheet of thinner armor which is spaced from the actual tank, It makes it so that Any weapon that explodes on impact explode on the Spaced Armor prematurely instead of hitting the actual tank

i recomend just using blocks and half blocks, not beams. if they shoot one beam that means that 1x7 or 1x4 area is gone making a huge hole.

From what I can see it looks like the rockets go through the tnt, so doesn't that mean that a rocket will hit the critical item behind it? But it seems to block gun shots. So I guess you can be bullet proof but be penetrated by rockets, I think it's balanced.

and tnt armor is best for kamikaze when you dont have anything to fight with in my tanks and surface vehicles i add cutters in front to fit with design and turn off self protection so i can ram and dmg enemies i got guns and main gun rockets behind the main gun and fire works on the tip of the main gun so basically a driving destroyer i can kill tanks with tnt armor too and i explode at them if its the best time to kil em

They’re not at all. The 1x7 is fully protected from guns and rockets. if you shot the rest 1x6 (but it penetrates so its better anti-rocket.) but if you shot the first 1 block were you place it. I gets destroyed.

I used to use spaced and slat armor but then switched to using TNT blocks as ERA as you can reuse it once its been hit

I have a jet that doubles as a submarine, it can dive, swim fine and take off from the water without issues. Only has guns tho without rc torpedoes because i made it for destroying shredders not naval combat, but it can do it.
