Plane Spotting at Montreal-Mirabel Int'l Airport (YMX) 30+ Minutes!

4x Boeing 747's, F-18, AN12, DC10's, A306's, MD11, B762 and many more interesting aircraft are featured in this video.
Here is a 30+ minutes Plane Spotting from Mirabel, Montreal "Cargo" airport. This unique airport is also home to Bombardier (CSeries/Canadair CRJ production), Pratt & Whitney 747's and Nolinor Aviation. Note that the Cargolux and ABC 747's visits were related to the Canadian Grand Prix of Montreal. Otherwise, all the regular cargo flights are included in the video, plus a few special charters/aircraft swap. Which aircraft was your favorite? Firstly, it is nice to see all the Bombardier C series, perhaps the most advanced airliner to fly at the moment. But the real amazing plane is the B747 SP testbed from Pratt and Whitney.

I live in Sainte-Sophie, QC and it's close to Montreal-Mirabel international airport. As a result, I often see some airplanes as cargoes flying nearby straight to Montreal-Mirabel international airport - which is why I hear some 'roaring' noises oftentimes.

Boy size can be deceiving the engine on the P & W 474 is a normal sized engine for a B373 or the Bombardier C-series, but it looks small on the B747 test aircraft.

That is correct. From like 10h to 16h there is really not much to see (except tons of little privates). The cargo flights and Nolinor are usually flying early morning/evening :)

like the turboprops especially the Russian does Mirabel get much pax traffic glad to see the 747-8s flying and is it the airbus factory now or is airbus going to move all production out of YMX

Mirabel has no regular pax traffic, but Nolinor is based there and offer charter services. There is no plan of airbus moving the production out of YMX, and they're in fact thinking about making the actual installations even bigger.

This location is very good for 06 arrivals and departure. It is also good for cargo planes taxiing to the pad. There is not much good locations for RWY 24.
