Plane spotting at Teesside international Airport with ATC| Austrian Football team charter (03/06/21)

Hello everyone! I’m back with another video at Teesside airport with something a little special. On June 1st a Sunclass Airbus A321 landed here from Graz, Austria carrying the Austrian National Football team to play England at the riverside stadium here in Middlesbrough. After loosing the game 1,0 the team flew back on June 3rd going to Vienna. This video shows the team boarding the aircraft ( An ex Thomas Cook Airbus A321-211 ) and pushing back and taking off, as well as the other daily flights at Teesside. I hope you enjoy this video as I thought it was really special seeing this amazing team and aircraft. Thanks Harry!
The aircraft- Sunclass Airlines Airbus A321-211 (OY-TCH) was built in late 2014 as D-AZAX and delivered to Thomas Cook Scandinavian in early 2015 registered as OY-TCH. As the airline went bankrupt the aircraft was delivered to Sunclass Airlines in October 2019 and is still registered as OY-TCH. As of June 2021 the Airbus is 6.4 years old. Also sorry at 1:31 the text is misspelt, trading is supposed to say training. Just to sort out any confusion. I didn’t notice it when I was editing!

Hi, the new observation deck isn’t finished yet. But, the viewing area outside the drop off car park is open.

Where are you stood? My young lad loves planes but we can never seem to get in a good enough spot to see them

It’s basically just at the airport terminal, park your car and just walk towards the viewing spot. There’s a few seats and benches there to sit on. Just make sure you park in the drop off car park and not the overnight car park. Previously the car park was free and we normally parked in the overnight stay, did that today and left with a parking fee of £23! The drop off car park is £5 so do take care which car park you drive into. Thanks
