The variety of airlines back then is what makes it special. Now we have "super airlines" that dominate an entire airports ops.

Update 2022; We still have most of those in service, except "Silver Star One", and all "Shamu,s" gone. No longer affiliated. But the rest in video, have been upgraded, taken care of,(by me and my crew @,DAL) and still earning profits!😉

WOW - awesome! I love going to Las Vegas & can't wait to go back! One thing though" I didn't see any Continental planes (may that great airline RIP), while there were many others I know have disappeared (America West for one). If nothing else it's a great video of current aircraft.....outstanding work, JustPlanes - bravo!

I'm really surprised to see some older generation planes still flying in US. Is it a common sight to see B727 or B737-200 in US?
@StratMatt7779 жыл бұрын
+mrcannotfindaname Based on the America West 757 and the Silver SW 737 and the old Delta liveries and United Shuttle, I would bet that this video is from 1997 like many of their other classic airport vids. 727 and 737-200 have not been common here since around 2001 or 2002 or so...
@swiperthesniper73556 жыл бұрын
B737-200 is no longer really seen with any commercial operator and this vid is from 2006(some are still in Canada tho) B727 are only with cargo operators like Federal Express(FedEx)

I own this DVD and it is great. I wish (hint, hint) someone would do Portland, Oregon PDX! I also own several Air Canada on board DVD's. Another wish would be for someone to do Alaska Airlines again. Like Portland to Vegas, Seattle to Hawaii and so on.

I have this DVD and I really like it, but i have one question. When was this filmed? The case says (c) 2007 but it seems that it was filmed sometime between 2005-2006. Was this filmed over multiple years? At the beginning there are many America West planes but by part 3 I am seeing mostly postmerger livery US Airways.
