The good'ole days of SJU when I was a kid. Seeing how busy the airport was back then just brings t so many happy memories. Sad to see what the airport is now.

I was sadly born in the wrong time, I never was able to experience this, seeing many airlines from different parts of US and the world. I wish things would’ve been different…

Waow , what memories from the mid 1990s , This video made cry. What great memories seeing all these legacy airlines that are non existent today. Memories of our former AA SJU HUB with 74 mainline and 66 regional. I miss working out from this airport SJU. HUGS to all who knew about era that will NEVER RETURN. Regards to all from AA MIAMI HUB.

Herbert Carillo I so miss those days at SJU even though I’m young and missed out on the true good days, but I was lucky enough to experience SJU when it still had a bit of life left in it. Terminal D filled with mainline planes, flights to much more cities than now. The ATRs were my favorite

The plane at 1:06 is a United Parcel Service (UPS) DC-8-73. The strakes on the engines are the easiest identifier that it is a -73, if it had no strakes it's a DC-8-71.

There was a second (and later, third) incarnation of Pan Am that was formerly Carnival Air Lines and operated in the late '90s. The A300 in the video may have been one of theirs.

There was an attempt to revive it. Same name different owners. Another possibility is that it was an old pan am plane wet leased and not repainted.

I will be going into KFLL frequently this year 2k15 so wanted to see their airport, eventhough this is an older video. I will purchase it this new year. I am curious: according to JP's sales (and youtube viewing) figures I assume there are more airport video viewers than cockpit video viewers, as one must be into flying a particular bird so sit through a cockpit demonstration of a couple hours, whereas the variety of what you see in airport vids are almost endless. Am I correct? Happy and blessed newest year to all.
