Kudos on the pronunciation of the names. 09:55 - Many Croatians were involved in Barbarossa and many fought and died in Stalingrad. Croatian fighters are the only ones who have no kind of memorial erected for them there. Some fled, most died. My wife's great-grandfather fled from Russian captivity twice, once in the first world war, once after Stalingrad.

That is true, however they were under German army not Croatian. My great garandfather was captured in Russia WWi and came home bare feet. he survived the concertation camp, and only lived couple years after his return like 4 years after the war ended from all the torture. How Russia got away for war crimes in WW I & WW II, that is why they are attacking Ukraine. Russia needs to be done for war crimes..

My grandmother's brother was an NDH pilot. He had two aerial victories and was officially listed as missing in Russia. It's really a shame that this topic is not given more attention, considering the number of victories of Croatian pilots. If American Pilot had 44 wins, he would probably have 7 movies and two cities named after him.

Topic of Croatian Airforce and Armed forces is being researched there are new discoveries every now and then. It was forbidden to reasearch it until 90s and in last decade Serbia eased bit access to Croatian archives in Belgrade, ton of documentation is still unavailable for researchers so it might be interesting if they ever give us back WW1, WW2 and both yugos archives.

The most ordinary butchers and arsonists. Read, if you are interested, a little more about the Jasenovac death camp, and the one who in occupied Europe was the only one to have a concentration camp and a death camp exclusively for children! Of course, I am referring to the Croatian clerical-fascists, the Ustashas, allies of NAZI GERMANY AND FASCIST ITALY, WHO CREATED THE SO-CALLED INDEPENDENT STATE OF CROATIA on April 10, 1941. And these are historical facts, which stand in every Holocaust museum, as well as in Yad Vashem (Heb. יד ושם sometimes Yad VaShem; Memorial Institution for Victims and Heroes of the Holocaust) is the official memorial center for Jewish victims of the Holocaust in Israel. It is located on the Mount of Remembrance (Har Hazikaron) in Jerusalem. The main purpose of the museum is to document the suffering of 6 million Jews during the Holocaust that happened during the Second World War (since right after the Serbs in the NDH, the JEWS SUFFERED THE MOST AND THE SAME MONSTEROUSLY)..

@StoneCresent
@StoneCresent 5 ай бұрын
@@lukadoslic3034 Yes, Messerschmitt is the manufacturer, but the official designation of the aircraft series was Bf 109. The Bf came from the name of the company before mid 1938 when Willy Messerschmitt acquired it, Bayerische Flugzeugwerke. Thus it would be more accurate to call the plane a Messerschmitt Bf 109 both in the sense Willy Messerschmitt co-designed it and the fact that the company that made it eventually bared his name. The Bf 109 series was never redesignated, but aircraft the company developed and introduced after Messerschmitt bought it out would bare the Me designation.
