Q&A #2: Why the Van’s Aircraft RV-10 versus Lancair Mako or TAF Sling TSi

Another question has been coming up a lot: why did we choose the Van’s RV-10 over other kits out there. I try to give a brief comparison of our experience checking out different 4-person kits at Oshkosh in 2018 and other specs we looked at after getting home. This is a very condensed review of some of the things we considered just to try and help answer the question of why we picked the RV-10. I encourage anyone looking to purchase their own kit to do their own research and try to actually climb inside whichever models you are considering to help make your own decision.
