@derrick10196 жыл бұрын
some folks are upset that I pointed it out....I'm just saying.....that's my issue with sampling....when everybody pulling from the same pool or crates then it feels like it loses authenticity.....they are both fire....but I got a hard time believing ye and co. didn't hear this before they made their joint with Nas....
@imDezrt6 жыл бұрын
It's funny how Kanye fans had to defend sampling so much back around MBDTF era because people hated on it at the time. Now when Kanye abuses the scope of 'sampling' by straight up biting a smaller producer's beat, they're saying it's fine. Pulling from the same crates is fine because it usually gets chopped up differently and every producer is different. But there is NO doubt in my mind whatsoever that Kanye or somebody in his camp was 'heavily inspired' by this track. . .at least give credit where credit is due--shit like this makes me lose faith in the bigger faces of hip hop. These guys need exposure and Kanye just gave them a major fuck you with what he just pulled
@imDezrt6 жыл бұрын
+iiike Oh gee whiz, a different set of drum samples. If you think that even makes a marginal difference in the overall feel of the track--enough to differentiate itself from bonjour--then you're the one that doesn't know much about production. Finding and chopping the right sample is about 90% of the effort in this particular style of production.
@ghettoplatinum9696 жыл бұрын
you cant steal a sample. same samples being used for a beat has been done, i dont know a million times.
