Do you know the correct idle draw on that amplifier? I have the 5000.1 version and it draws 2.5a at idle with no signal. I can't find verified information anywhere. I would think it should be less but I'm not a pro at this.

I agree not my most liked drive card but I tell you once you do enough of them you know right off the bat to rebuild them. Also for any new tech's reading this, look for carbon tracking between transistor legs.

Yeah I had two of these and they hit hard an last a good while...just don't let anyone that can't handle Their drinks in you're vehicle cause one spill an the whole mother board is toasted. Just open up mine and look on the back gone. Be very surprised I had two 2,400 watts 15 audio pipes down to 1 ohm hook up to it and it would hit hard. Then a buddy of mine spilt alcohol and it ended up causing my speakers an amp to smoke.

That fan only helps until the inside of the amp heats up. Since they have no fresh air inlet fan, it's a stressed out design.

I took the bait by getting an amp that I thought put out crazy wattage because it said so and fried it. So I did my homework and spent a good amount more and got what I needed
