I used to own the rock n roll bible...twice....funny how that book walks off....anyhoo. I had read fairies wear boots was written after ozzy walked home from a bar , completely shitfaced and..... fill in the blanks. So as he was stumbling home he saw fairies following him home....and those fuckers wearing boots too! Any hoo…..that's what I had read about. Can not back it at all as it was written 25 years ago....12 years after it happened.

Your comment, "I never thought I'd hear something like this from Black Sabbath" busted me up because all us that grew up with this music being new have always known these deep cuts were so special. And that's what makes the best of the best...even the deep cuts are worthy. Because tunes like this ARE awesome in their own right for just groovin' on, which is what I was doing until your comment woke me out of it. :D Love the deep cuts on older albums. So much good stuff from a LOT of bands that one would never know of unless one sits down with an album and listens front to back. :)
