I'm fine with the collabs as it long as it doesn't take over the whole game. I still want my unthemed rides and scenery to create something original. I personally would rather see universal over Disney as I love those parks way more. Imagine an epic universe collab as epic universe opens next year. I hope Frontier announces something soon because I just want acknowledgement that it's actually happening. I stopped making videos on Planco 2 until it gets announced.

I wouldn't be surprised that if a Disney theme park builder from Frontier came to be, it would be its own thing separate from the Planet Coaster IP. Planet Coaster lets the player have so much freedom with what they do by taking pieces and merging them into one another to build new objects, I can't imagine Disney would be keen on players taking their characters and setting them up into inappropriate situations or something. Kind of like how Jurassic World Evolution is kinda like Planet Zoo but with way less creative freedom, I imagine a Disney park builder game would be more about placing prebuilt rides and shops over full creative freedom like in Planet Coaster. I'd be thrilled with either though because all I do when I play Planet Coaster is try to build my own Disney park anyway. lol

I think a collab with Warner Bros would be cool, because then they can include Harry Potter. Also Universal/Dreamworks with Jurrasic Park/World, the classic monsters, Shrek, Puss in Boots, and Madagascar would be Amazing.

In my opinion, a Disney planet coaster is dystopian. Every Park, show and parade would look the same and Disney theming could potentially prevent more creative theming possibilities (maybe even on purpose by Disney). Imagine Mickey Mouse animatronics instead of highly customizable animatronics with wider theming.

I would be totally down for a Disney DLC! I've always wanted to do a reboot of my Indiana Jones ride and if they had a pack that had all of the assets from the ride I would be thrilled to death to make it even more like the real ride! :D Great video as always by the way! :)

There are so many differences and changes... They honestly need to take a page out of Prehistoric Kingdom. Object scaling, the option to change the object variation/skin without it cluttering the same object in the menu. New customization with the attractions and rides is a major. New Track types, new station types.

i can see the Disney theme portion be simular to the Ghostbusters pack. Maybe a bit more grand, but done as a DLC type of thing versus having it part of base game. Also, a must have as a DLC within the first year of release is waterpark. These 2 things along side updated engine, more flat rides or the option for people to create their own somehow. That would make it worth PC2.

Most important thing to me remains that the game runs better. With pc1 it's very hard to make a finished park and still enjoy the game. You have to build in pauze mode and kick all guests out... That's not what i want from a game like this. You want to see the guests enjoy your builds/rides. Maybe even play fully with management on, which you can't if you can't have guests or even press play.

Last leak I heard was the disney collab fell thru. If we get it,I'd like to mostly see the ride types (omnimovers,multi-motion jeep,360* pirate boat ride from shanghai, suspended darkride,etc.). If we could get some very versatile scenery too tho I would be very happy. In general I hope to see this game soon. We have been waiting for too long.

I don't think a collab is necessary. You can have more varied and adult themes without Disney, and the price of the game will go up with a collab. Disney will get a cut of the price and not everyone wants princesses or whatever walking around their park.

I don't think they ever thought we would use the game like we did, building massive things using pieces that were never meant for what we used them for. I hope the sequel would be very smart to take into account how creators use the game. If I had a recommendation for Frontier I would plead for them to make the game more optimized. I would much more like to have 10000 "stupid" guests in my parks than 1000 very complex guests. This way our parks wouldn't be empty when we go overboard with the park size :D I know computers have gotten very powerful but even on the most expensive computers very good builders end up with empty parks just so we could run them at all.

Aye don't bee leave it's the pieces.Every one condensed their parks. The full maps is a bot 80 acres inn reel life size, but pea pole build park like cedar point,but smaller. Cedar point is 364 acres. Planco players park building and rides aren't build the right size.

Not sure when they added back a few featured creators on the main screen of Planet Coaster (PC version)? A collab with Disney would be HUGE for Frontier's future and attracting/maintaining investment. My worry is that Disney is going to want to take over the game essentially and make it feel more like Planet Mouse with all the nods, scenery influences, etc. unless it's just one or two expansion packs. Big time agree with the other comments preferring unthemed rides, scenery, etc. to create original and unique parks and attractions. I still cannot believe Frontier has not announced this new game; time is really ticking for them.

I think Frontier Games will announce Planet Coaster 2 in August of this year. Their new game "Formula 1 Manager 2024" game launches 23rd July, so they will need to focus on this for now and shortly after it launches. I suspect an August announcement and hopefully release for December 2024 :)

I dont want a collab with any company. I like the planco characters. I would love to see seasons, weather i.e setting what rides stay open under certain weather conditions based on how uncomfortable the guest would be, and a new planco character. Add some of the features in planet zoo like staff buildings, i.e., ride maintenance so when you rebrand it shows them working on the ride parts but they have to be back stage with negative area around them. Another cool feature would be a character creation for park mascots. If you have a story for your park you could create that character to walk around and interact with guest. I would like to see a real time park map that you can place in your park and maybe a way to edit it so you can name lands in the park. Maybe challenges where different panco brands want a ride and you get reputation and advertisements for your park popularity. Also WATER PARKS please and give us the ablity to have it as two different parks in the same map and set pricing for combo park deals.

i would like to see them use Planet zoo assets and updates on a planet coaster 2 , they could release the game and then have the DLC be different parts of the Disney parks around the world. Like Fantasyland pack, Disneyland Paris pack etc. Then add on more parks like Cedar fair and Six flags assets as DLC as well.

Only reason I’d be nervous about a Disney collab is because Dreamlight was a terrible game. Hoping that if there is a collab that because they went to an actual successful game making company that the game is good. I hope it’s not just a push for branding over quality.

I am all down for a decent fireworks creator. If they get some inspiration from FInale 3D (professional pyrodesign software) and can implement this in the game. That would be soooo amazing. It is very easy to use and would work so well within the game.

@@DeLadysigner I've haven't been a fan of Disney for a while now. This is just my opinion, but I think they ruined both Pixar and Lucasfilm and they haven't had an original idea in a very long time. If it is more like tossing in a few of their most popular rides from the parks over the years I guess that would be cool, but I would not want to see them have any sort of influence over the game in any other way. Like mentioned in another comment, a Warner Brothers or Universal colab would be more fun i think, especially with a Six Flags tie in. I do see the allure your speaking of with Disney though. And I do get that I'm probably more by myself in my opinion, so it wouldn't stop me from getting it if they did that.
