Could you make an advanced tutorial for the coaster construction? Some coasters have more complicated things that confuses me like Typoon Barghest. It would be really helpful if you could show how each of those work like block sections, brakes, and so on.

Brakes slow the coaster down. Block sections are used so you can run more than one train on a coaster. If you are to use these, you must put one extra block section than the amount of trains you want. I would separate my block sections because putting two block sections back to back joins them as one. Chain lifts count as block sections. Linear Synchronous Motor is featured on launched coasters, and they propel the train foward. Cable lifts are the same as chain lifts.

use the 4m track method sometimes. i use it for all my coasters now and yes its jittery but overall smoother than the already trash banking system

Could you also possibly make a tutorial on 'HOW TO' make custom heartline rolls and corkscrews? There are the pre-build pieces ofcourse,, but whenever you try to custom-make one, it is extremely difficult to get it smooth. (The train always has these janky motions that make it rock left and right... ) Plus... it seems you are unable to smooth pre-build things, so it's a little harder to make a smooth transition into a roll like that. Anyway.. Nice to see tutorials like these, to help new people out to creating their dream parks ^w^

TheZerotje I can get the smoothness in normal turns, but the problem lies in making a smooth loop, barrel roll, heartline roll, and corckscrew. To custom make those, it's already difficult, and when you 'think' it looks smooth, the ride-cam shows how janky and rocking the track is. Right now, the best I can make is a normal track that doesn't make loops, for if I try, the ride just seems terribly uncomfortable x3

Voltorn Elda how u cold work is this way make a half of the loop you want and let the other half be autocreateed by workingfrom 2 sides instead of 1 thats how i work to make smooth rollecoasters with loops turns also angle can work if u work i small staps instead of making 1 long from 0 to 90 angle u could make 3 parts 0 to 25 25 to 50 to 90 and do the same back play with length of the rail it works out a lot if u want i could show you how i work and sent that in pm to you or add me on steam and watch how i make rollecoasters cuz mine are never jacked like that u think wtf happend

I recently bought this game, and the functions don't seem to be the same, I built the first part to go up, and then it forced me to build from the other side and I couldn't link it up where the two pieces of track were supposed to meet, how do i change this? How come this game makes it so tough to get a passing test score for coasters 100-200 feet tall ? I don't think in the short time I've had it on console since I didn't ever game on PC so about a month now I've been playing this on console and I've made 23 coasters perhaps 24 coasters of my own and none of them hit the 100-200 feet mark because it's no easy task being able to open up such towering coasters . I want to at least construct one really tall coaster at some point. This game really has an incredible Vibe about it. Sucks that maybe it is me I can't build tall coasters ? Maybe it's the game itself ? Idk I just wanna make a super tall coaster and feel like I've accomplished building a really good caliber of coaster . That's my main goal with this game even tho I have a lot of fun Makin smaller coasters with shorter duration and higher ratings overall. One day I'll make a coaster in this game that reaches at least 100ft 😂 idk if I suck at the game or the game ratings suck.

@@fabrizio4190 yea i mastered the art of coaster making since one year ago in this game. I've made 500 and 600 feet tall coasters that passed the ratings test . It was all just a learning process for me. Current day i could probably pump out a good 2 to 3 coasters with a phenomenal rating where the coasters on average 250 ft tall . In a shorter time that it took me to fail at making 1 that was 150 to 200 ft tall. I've made a lot of tall ones since I made that comment. Sometimes I'll get cocky and add crazy inversions just to test the limit of the river but never too far . Sometimes it happens cause I'm a human being and not a robot. Never the less I still love this game even a year or 2 after I first picked it up.

Dani Marie Try to get as close as possible to your station or final break run. There should be an option that appears on the track you are trying to connect to. Click the symbol and the track will connect

To be completely honest saveing the coaster whit scenery is one thing i really DON'T like at all about the game. There is no tutorial anywhere and you have to guess whit ALOT of thing in planet coaster so back to Roller coaster tycoon :D
