Speaking of decoration, personally I like putting down a T2 flower spreader for each type of flower, and one for Lirma seeds. (If you haven't tried putting a Lirma Seed in a flower spreader, you really should try, the Lirma plants are quite interesting.)

I needed a lot of food (10 animal shelters). I built a crafter on water surrounded by algae generators. Beside it I put a storage that collects t1 and rare. T1 crafters get built around environments hive and bean farms

IRL, I think you would have made a fantastic "Operations Manager". The bio-dome on the roof reminded me of Wallace and Grommet "The curse of the were-rabbit". Good to hear that there is more to do!

I like using the glass domes as like observation rooms for meteors (couches, desks) or as a greenhouse with flowers and even food growers just for looks. Might as well do something with the tons of seeds you find. And whenever I'm done with the main gameplay or just in creative mode I like to create different kinds of bases/buildings around the landscape. For example: barracks, butterfly sanctuary, a fish observatory (glass floors over the water), a Wardens memorial on the original planet (basically all of the gold items), a lookout tower in a forest, a museum of all the items in the game, a maze, spell out things with the platforms, etc. I like to use the platforms to create empty "wells" that I'll drop tons of the glowing items into to create these bright spots at night that can be seen from a distance. It's rough when there's not many items to use for decor, and I haven't tried any mods yet, but it can be a lot of fun. Especially if you challenge yourself to something, like can you build a base on top of those coral tubes? What about over a lava pool? How about an obstacle course for the vehicle? Lots of possibilities.

The new seeds do look good in flower pots; I prefer the look of the old ones in machines though. 14:00 I recognise the Starform Robotics suit on the left, but what on earth is that third suit? It looks more like the graphical data in the game got corrupted rather than a real suit... Not only do the sofa pieces snap, they also link, which is nice QoL. I think you can actually craft generic frog eggs by this point, but they're in the incubator, so that's another step, and it means they can't be automated. 22:10 People who find this earlier in the game can of course rebuild the T1 nuclear reactor. (If you listen carefully you can hear it humming even before you rebuild it.) I think one of the drones had a message mentioning that there would only be life underground due to the cosmic storms. (I wonder whether it's a cosmic storm that actives the cosmic quartz?)

It's a real suit. It's called Glitx or something similar. It's associated with the Saboteur.

That was great. Make sure you remember to make species 4 - you said a buffalo didn’t you? But I don’t think I’ve ever seen a species four. A few of the decorative single tree planters, colour boxes etc would be nice (if they are in this game).

Base looking spiffy; Older equipment tidied up; Automation sorted; Terraformation -> Done!👍 TBH, I was expecting a bit more from the devs around the story in this DLC, unless this particular DLC is in fact, incomplete 😕 Clearly, there's further scope for this story, whether by another DLC or filling out the story in this DLC ... or maybe after you do a couple more portal wrecks, there's a surprise visit from the robotics people. Wait and see, I guess.

GMT 0 is England, so I think it's chauvinist towards Brits, just because they made it up to rule their global empire in the past. I wonder if BRICS is gonna change that... This was all /sk, just in case in text, without tone of voice, pacing and bodylanguage queues that was missed (!) But I'm still curious what time zone you live in, mostly because STEM and/or women that play games like these are very rare; most of the time women play men like men play computer games i.e., for fun and profit... 😎 Stay safe and enjoy.

@@vulcanfeline Idk, I lived in Puerto Rico for a time, strategically placed to watch Y2K reek havoc, but that never happened , what a letdown! All year long, 6pm, it was pitch black. There was something calming about that, even if the world didn't end.

I was about to ask whether there are any animals in the world itself, like on Prime planet, because I haven't played the game for like a week now and yesterday I went looking if there are any, but saw none, despite being at 1.48 TTi, which is like 5% into the last stage (after mammals stage)... I got my answer now and I just need to wait a bit longer...

Yup, I think they appeared at about 2.5TTi.

@@surtrplays I just tested it - they start to appear at 2.25 TTi, which is when T2 animal food unlocks... And these are the places where I've seen them - home base, lake in uraninate cave, beach, western side of the lake with the wreck next to sulfur area (this one for me was the only one with a single Bison looking mammal), waterfall next to the big wreck. So basically areas with plenty of water nearby. I flew through the big underground cave, but didn't see any animals there - but it is possible that I just missed them, because that area is too big to not miss something...

no, there are only generic eggs on this planet, but you can make them with incubator, if you know the recipe. Or you can do portal jumping and hope that you maybe find some in some wrecks, although I doubt you'll find golden ones, but something like the lava frogs can be found in those wrecks...
