Planet of Lana Almost Gets It Right

My thoughts on Planet of Lana, the beautiful new adventure game developed by Wishfully. Following in the footsteps of titles like LIMBO, INSIDE, Gris, and other narrative-driven puzzle platformers, Planet of Lana takes you on a classic adventure across a gorgeous alien planet. And while it walks on the same ground as those games that came before it, it at times struggles to find a path that feels as inspiring as it could.

this is what i thought. this is what Somerville should've been like considering there's a lot of similarities. i love how beautiful this game is and it leaves you feeling wholesome at the end

The game isn’t that great on its own right, but considering there are only like one or two games like this every year, it’s essentially a must-play.
