Bought all of wave 1. Can't wait for wave 2 - though I won't be getting anything astronaut or mutant. I prefer the proper apes. Hope they do the tv series characters... farmer chimps, more soldiers, Lucius, Julius, Burke, Alan etc!

Looking forward to wave 2. It is supposed to include Astroape Cornelius. Note that in the spacesuits they all looked the same until they took the helmets off, so why can't they take the Zira head they already have and put it on the Astroape body? Well, I got an extra Zira and will get an extra Astroape and make my own.

Update, I did end up buying these. I had to, it's 3.75 inch planet of the apes. But I didn't buy the human figures, they look pretty bad.

However, I think the dealbreaker for me are the sculpts for Taylor and Nova. I get that it's retro and they are not going to look much like the actors. However Nova has really tiny eyes and a scowl on her face. Nothing at all like the actress. If the humans were halfway decent looking, I would have bought this line.

I heard from a reliable source that the company did not get approval to use the actors' likeness. They had to work something out, bc the set wouldn't be complete without Taylor & Nova,

I bought the ursus figure to see what it is, i expect something like an apes medicom figure but i did not know these are such tiny miniatures, the figure do looks good, but in my opinion is much too expensive i paid almost $30 for this tiny plastic puppet.I have all the sideshow figures,and some hot toys, but in comparison to this tiny figures you can call these cheap. i think thats a rip off for this price.a tiny puppet like this should not cost $30. but not more than $15. at the most. But thats my opinion.

Thats great opinion! When I did this video servral years ago, these figures were $15 each, now Super7 has jacked the price to $20!! I do not purchase from them directly anymore nor do I do busy with them anymore. They are a terrible a company.

You are trying to make them hold the guns from the cartridge, the ammo magazine. That little hole is suppose to be the trigger hole, see.

Does the plastic feel high quality, because the funko reaction line was terrible in my opinion. They would feel really brittle. Do you know if that’s the case with these figures?

Super 7 has upped their game since they went their separate ways with Funko. The plastic on these new figures produced by Super7 such as POTA... I would say is about 95% solid.

filmschool93 I just recently got a batch of these, and I personally love them so far. They actually feel like toys. Funko’s felt brittle and the paint felt rough. Pluse the sculpts are better in my opinion.
