"The chimps don't snatch others food when they know they'll be fed". There is a common goodness among them and desire to get along when their needs are met as opposed to creating chaos and making war. That is so good to see considering the rough, personal struggles they've been through in their pasts.

That really makes no difference, even if they were wild chimps they still have a high probability of being killed by other wild chimps. It's just how they work, you are a chimp from another tribe? You can be singled out and killed by a rival tribe, you split from your tribe they will likely hunt you down and kill you, tribe is getting too large? Well you may be killed to reduce the numbers or be lucky and split with others to start a new tribe and then risk being hunted and killed by your former tribe.

Awesome documentary! Truly enjoyed watching and learning about the behavior of the Chimpanzee troops and their relationship with the researcher and her team. Thank you for sharing your research with us. The baby is an adorable girl. It’s amazing how the mother and her offspring spend years together until the adolescent matures and is ready to start her own journey in the wild habitat.

Have you ever been moved by a story of someone helping animals or nature in such a way?
@fo.rs.atia557 ай бұрын
Releasing monkeys or chimpanzees or gorillas from cages into the wild has always been disastrous. Most of them either all die soon or they are killed by their wild counterparts or they die because they don't know the way and customs of living freely in the forest. So this work has been proven many times to be futile

why should animals be any less emotional than humans? Before we evolved into humans we were also “animals” so to speak. We are still primates , 😂 apes are very emotional primates just like us

Especially after all they've ever known is a loving hand.. even though it is a human hand. Anyone caught with one of these primates as a pet should have to put up enough money in a trust fund to take care of the animal the rest of its life.

I’m not sure how long ago this was filmed but, chimps can swim I’ve seen them swim in Florida you just have to teach them. So I guess in the wild no they can’t swim but, I bet if they had to they could they are smart enough to figure out how to doggie paddle like the Florida chimps. I mean there are a few Orangutans that learned years ago on one of the release Islands in the rainy seasons and she only had one arm and half of the other thanks to poachers🤬. I think her name is/ was Kessie.

Sadly captive Chimpanzees can be taught a lot by humans, on how to survive and feed themselves in the wild, but: not how the tribal politics of wild apes function. Nor can they learn the savage side from us that will serve as self defense when needed. Wild chimps go to war when resources are scarce. Pressure from deforestation and human encroachment insures that scarcity. Even in a protected environment like Monkey World in Dorset England, introducing new apes into established groups is frought with danger. On top of that, all these animals are severely traumatized by their human capture from their wild families. Making reintroduction to wild relatives nearly impossible in these high pressure environments. This is an admirable ambition here, but chances of success are low for especially males, to succeed being reintroduced in the wild long-term. Then there is the threat from further human predation in these chaotic countries.

These savage, destructive creatures attacked one of the veterinarians twice in the video. The existence of these four legged animals is a huge burden for the environment, they offer not one benefit . The areas plauged with their existence suffer from total destruction as they are gluttonous and rip apart the trees amd undergrowth. The grounds are rife with many serious illnesses these creatures carry due to their gross behavior of laying, ingesting, and shoving their front toes into their excrement. This hideous behavior amd their total disregard of any form of cleanliness leads to them leaving their disease laden feces on everything they crawl over. They also emit an awful, vile stench. It is very upsetting that countries would waste valuable resources on a creature that resembles a large rodent, but offers not the slightest benefit to the environment as rodents do. These resources could be used in many other positive ways. Except for scientific purposes, there is no reason for these heinous animals to be crawling around, destroying the habitats of other noble animals.
