Okay, so I am waaay late to this video. But I started on Planet Zoo recently purely in Sandbox mode. Trying to come up with a concept for as true to nature landscape as I can and as I only have the base game (currently) I am limited. After some research I figured a handful of African savannah animals would naturally work together. So here I am watching your video. I have to say, your discussion on the preciousness of trees and habitats was really thought provoking and at least I haven't heard enough of this in Planet Zoo videos.

I made an interspecies habitat with a riverside and a fever tree forest. I tried seeing if any certain animal will go to a certain biome but they didn’t really seem to choose.

in a habitat, this large, does it struggle to keep food filled and poo cleaned? I'm having trouble with mine, idk if its because of how big it is.

Yes, it can be a challenge for sure. I usually assign a few keepers to just food and the rest to only cleaning. It also helps if you have multiple keeper's huts in the workzone. That way they can prepare food at the same time for different species.

There are options in sandbox mode that disable fighting and predation, so that the predators don't eat the cute ones, hahaha.

I have two questions: 1. How to close the zoo so that people do not come to the zoo? 2. Can, for example, the Lion and the Lioness mate and have offspring in the wild, or only in the gardens? Because when I released the lion and the lioness in the wild, they did not mate with each other and they did not have children. I tried to close the zoo somehow, but it couldn't. Please help

In the Guest menu you can reduce the amount of guests in the zoo (sandbox mode). I am not sure if you can close the zoo in other game modes, but you can always pause the game. When you say "release to the wild" do you mean sell them? Because usually releasing means they are gone forever. Animals will only mate in your zoo. Make sure both animals have good fertility stats, otherwise they won't mate. Hope that helps!

@@recklessone 1.this is an explanation thank you. And the 2nd question I mean are animals outside the paddock, that is, they walk around the zoo and there is no fence for that. Eg lions walk in the zoo outside the garden. Because when I was playing the game Zoo Tyccon 2, Wildlife park 3, I didn't build a fence, I put animals in the zoo and walked, animals gave birth to children, etc.

Yes, in the animal game settings for sandbox. You can turn off fighting and predatory behavior.

There are a few settings in the game menu for sandbox. One is called disable animal fights and one is disable predation and fear, that will still predators killing herbivores.
