Great analysis. Often I found that planet rulers of the sign at the MC apply with equal power, but less bombastically, if there are no planets directly conjunct. Especially when there is another aspect involved with that planet and the MC. They take time to shine, fully. Also any planets in the same sign, and/or whole sign house. Fixed stars, too. Listening to your exploration, this seems even more pronounced.

With Neptune currently hanging out by my moon sign which is in my 10th house and in RX it’s brought some clarity as I have natal Neptune in RX but still quite confusing. I am being guided to be a healer in my own right. Thank you for the added insights.

Great video! Thanks. 😊 My hub’s stellium in Sag in 10th with Mercury conj applying the MC, and Saturn conj separating. My question: his Mercury is in retrograde. How might the planet in Rx affect his MC?(I have my theories. 😉) What orb do you give to planets to the MC? Up to 10°? I have Uranus and Pluto loosely on either side. I can see where this placement 10th House placement affected me but to a lesser degree. Many jobs and trying out of different career paths. A bit of a renegade and liked to innovate processes. Wondering if Pluto’s influence may have to do it my late in life embrace of my metaphysical Scorpio AC passions.

Thanks, Julie! I think beyond the traditional interpretations of ME Rx conjunct MC, I would offer that ME Rx is still the expression of ME but typically in a different way. For example, this person may be more quiet or minimally-speaking but have just as equally meaningful ways of expressing and communicating. Or this native might be more introverted or non-linear in the way they bring their voice into the public domain. It often indicates greater challenges there, but when worked with and supported, tremendous gifts that are in some respects neurodivergent. Yes, 10 degrees approaching and separating are safe to use. I have seen up to 15 degrees for sensitive souls and definitely when planets straddle the MC in the 9th and 10th houses together. I think your correlation of PL conjunct MC makes sense. Sometimes PL shows up as repression of where it touches and then transforms into empowerment of that position. It all depends on how the native responds to that energy.

Thanks, Matt! Transiting SA conjunct the MC definitely can bring more responsibilities at work. It can also be a time where we potentially feel either criticized or under greater pressure from any authority figures at work, calling us to higher standards of maturation. Uncomfortable and challenging at times for sure. Remembering to PLAY is always my favorite medicine.
